Michael Todd revealed today that he'll be bringing a port of his mischievous platformer Electronic Super Joy: Groove City to the Wii U eShop soon.
The game has already received many positive ratings within the Steam community so it should be one to watch out for.
The basic plot of the game involves a giant robot stripper called JoJo who has smashed Groove City because the nasty Dr Swinger stole her Laser-Nipples. You are tasked with helping JoJo reclaim her Laser-Nipples and defeat the Evil Plans of Dr.Swinger, with the help of Pope Boris the Super Sexy. Now if that doesn't intrigue you, nothing will!

wow that platforming looks really good, also laser nipples, yes I had to try to pause the video about 10 times but I finally got to see the message these guys are freaks!
Wow the eshop is just getting indies left and right!I'll buy this again just for the amazing soundtrack.
While it's no doubt a good platformer, I think I'll just buy those who are good and at the same time is pleasing to my eyes (beautiful and well-made visuals/artstyle). I have too much 2D platformers to play right now. Until then, this falls into my maybe category.
LASER NIPPLES!?...WHAT!? Anyways, this looks like a good platformer, actually. And I really didn't have high hopes after hearing about the, uh...laser nipples (Seriously, WTF!?). I'll think about getting it.

This is genuinely really good. (Much much better than e.g Cloudberry Kingdom or any of the others on Wii U in Europe(1001 Spikes isn't released here yet).
Wonder why they went for this and not the original. (It is very short). They could have used PG mode as the default (Which is the best the other one is off putting).
I loved the first one. Haven't tried the second one yet, despite it sitting in my Steam library. Hopefully we'll also get the first on on WiiU.
@Tops The first has 45 Levels - This has 15. The first has sort of porn sound effects which I don't like (PG Mode turns them off) this hasn't.
The graphic style is different on the first I think it is a bit better but that is a minor problem.
The controls are perfect on both and the level design is really good on both.
This took me 30 mins to finish that is a problem at least at £5.49 if they use the RRP
First game was amazing (Have it on Steam) and features a really great soundtrack.
That soundtrack doe I really enjoyed cloudberry and the controls look really tight on this; I would enjoy it. I'll get it if the price is right

The music is quite catchy, and the game seems reminiscent of Kung Fu Rabbit, which I liked. I'll look into it when it comes out.
