Last year we told you about Kickstarter success for Video Games Live, securing the release of another album of live game music performances. Headed up by industry veteran Tommy Tallarico, the project remains hugely popular with gamers around the world and is currently embarking on a world tour.
The Bonus Round show features music from some of the industry's best-known franchises, with two shows now scheduled for later this year in the UK — details from the press release are below.
The Bonus Round show includes music from games series such as Final Fantasy, The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, Mega Man, Street Fighter, Warcraft, Kingdom Hearts, Sonic the Hedgehog and many more, propelling the gaming experience beyond anything else before it with unprecedented variety and surprises.
“We’re thrilled and honoured to be bringing VGL back to the UK,” said Tommy Tallarico, creator and host of VGL. “VGL is a one of a kind entertainment experience so we’ve always strived to let as many people across the globe experience it. Not only do we get to come back to London but we’re very excited to be performing in Manchester for the very first time. We’ve always wanted VGL to perform more in the UK so this is definitely something we’re hoping we can expand and do more of in the future.”
Video Games Live tour dates:
Manchester O2 Apollo - Saturday 1st November 2014, 7PM
London Eventim Apollo - Sunday 2nd November 2014, 7PM
Are you a fan of these tours and albums? If you are then it's worth checking out the full list of gigs, with the world tour underway and taking in many more locations before and after these UK shows.

Same cities as usual. meh.
Did the press release only just get sent out? I got an email from VGL weeks ago and booked my tickets for the Manchester show ASAP.
After watching the Level 2 Blu-Ray and listening to the original CD I can't wait.
I have been to 4 of these shows. They are awesome. I highly reccomend if you are able to go check it out.
Nice to see Scotland getting blanked once again.
Poor.
I personally enjoyed Video Games Live when they organised a concert in Dubai for the very first time back in December 2012, and they promised performances for the next five years after the success of the first. In fact, last year (albeit I did not attend that time) the concert was held in December 13, 2013, the same day the PlayStation 4 officially launched in the Middle East! They even gave away 13 PlayStation 4 units in a contest they held on stage, or so I heard.
checks list of gigs, has a heart attack when he sees it's coming to Rochester, NY
Crosses Fingers for them to come to Ireland
