My brother got the Zelda 3dsxl yesterday from Target out the door for 151$ I have plenty of games he can barrow. I really want that system!!
Does the canadian target have the same deals?
Xenoblade chronicles and metroid prime trilogy for 39.99 at GameStop.
@goonow
Canadian Best Buy/Future Shops have $149 3DSXL's, but it doesn't include the bundles.
Pikmin 3 is $40 at Newegg and Mario and Luigi Dream Team is $28 at Amazon. Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D is also $28 on Amazon. Zombi U is $15 at Best Buy's website. Nintendo Land is $20, Wii Classic Controller Pro is $15, Batman Armored Edition is $20, ans at Kmart's website. Also, Gamestop is including Scribblenauts Unmasked with most of the Wii U bundles (includes Zelda), but it isn't available online, so it appears if you want this one you'll have to brave black friday traffic and crowds. Also, like Oto said, Xenoblade and Metroid are both really cheap, but using the codes CAG16 and SAVER you can get another 16% off and free shipping- these codes shoudl work with any used games.
Anyone seen any deals on Fire Emblem?
I managed to snatch a blue XL, and probably the last XL in the store, in Target last night.
It my not be a special edition, but at least it's the color I wanted.
Rayman Legends and Splinter Cell are both $25 on Amazon. Lego Marvel is $30. Black Flag is $40.
I hate Black Friday. HATE. Good deals though...
I lost some sleep, but here's what I got gaming-wise :
Rayman Legends $24.99
Wind Waker HD $39.99
Super Mario 3D World $49.99
ZombiU is $15 btw at Best Buys which i snaged - http://www.bestbuy.com/site/zombiu-nintendo-wii-u/5743611.p;jsessionid=9774CAADAFBA0327364DD9B3249358BB.bbolsp-app03-134?id=1218690247387&skuId=5743611&st=ZombiU&lp=1&cp=1
Im really waiting for cyber monday, this BlackFriday deals where disappointing. Whats with the no Eshop sales for Black Friday? Was just the same things always on sale.
No tdirectly Wii U but Skylander Swap Force starter pack is/was (gotta check the times) on sale a bucnh o fplaces fo r$50 or even $38. And then there's th eSkylanders Swap Froce Wi iU bundle for $260.
Gamestop has there $100 "dark" edition for $80 but it's "wii" (no U) only. Fortuantley my kid wanted it but then changed his mind, I think th e$100 price spooked him. Or maybe the dark spooked him.
My best deal of the day so far - PS+ for $30 Amazon is also giving $5 video credit which I think will snag me a free HD movie rental. Will be playing LBP Karting w/ the kids later. The Wii U needs a PS+ service called "Players Select" where we can select 1 game of our choosing each month. PS+ biggest turn-off for people is giving them stuff they've already purchased. For $30/yr it's worth it though, Dragon's Dogma Arisen is still $40.
Next best purchase was Lego Marvel Wii U for $30 at Amazon. I really like shopping in my pjs w/ my free month of Prime.
got my 3ds xl last night!
Everything is 30% off on the Aksys website, and a Jubei plushie is included with every order.
Toys R Us Canada has Nintendo Life for $15.
I got my zelda wii u, pkmn y, mh3u and my "gad ever elusive" xenoblade and metroid prime trilogy. My must have wii games collection enters officially in its final lap!
Walmart has Wii u bundle with swap force starter pack and nintendo land for $260.
Toys R Us has BOGO 40% off all video games. And BOGO $1 for $15 and $20 video games.
I WISH I HAD MONEY!! ;___;
Nintendo has no eSHOP black friday sale that I see.... why are they always the worst man?
Sony has 1 year PS pLus for only $30 today, they have given away free games fro today and also have tonso f sales on their PSN store on the console.
PC steam has a huge sale going on hundreds of games 75% off and even more.
Nintendo? Nothing. Then they wonder why they get their yearly Wii U consoles outsold in 1 day by PS4 and XBOX1.
Got a new XL from Target last night. I wish that it didn't have to come to me getting a completely new system, but my now old one kinda forced my hand.
Newegg has Pikmin 3 for $39.99
@GamerJunkie
"Nintendo? Nothing. Then they wonder why they get their yearly Wii U consoles outsold in 1 day by PS4 and XBOX1."
In other news, that didn't actually happen.
And Nintendo doesn't hawk their games like cheap knick-knacks because their games aren't cheap knick-knacks.
Man that Zelda 3DS bundle looks really tempting! If only I had the money....
@kokirii
That is an excuse, try again. The other two companies games aren't selling cheap knick-knacks, again...try again.
Nintendo could have at least offered their older games from their launch or older Zelda and Mario titles for a little cheaper on the 3DS shop.
@kokirii Uh Nintendo has the cheapest hardware by far so making games is cheaper..... And they have only made 2-3 GREAT games in 1 year so far. Most are disappointing.
You are the kind of person that makes all these excuses for Nintendo and its why they never improve.
Today is a day for them to make a great sale and gain some ground from the other 2 consoles, but they didn't do it, so will fall further to the side.
I guess they will just continue to focus on keeping the kids 10 and under and people that want to "exercise" and handheld gamers. They pretty much don't care about Wii U from what I see.
As @NotEnoughGolds already mentioned, Toys R' Us is doing a Buy One Get One 40% Off deal on ALL their video games. I would also like to point out that this deal also counts pre-orders. So, you can pre-order games like Watch_Dogs and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze and get one 40% off. Also, they're offering free shipping on all orders over $49.
I ordered Super Mario 3D World, Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, and Wii Party U, and pre-ordered Watch_Dogs, Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze, and inFAMOUS: Second Son and saved $68.
Best individual game deals I saw...
Animal Crossing $25 walmart
Mario 3d world $49 kmart
zelda albw $30 kmart
wind waker hd $40 kmart
rayman legends $25 gamestop
zombie u used $10 gamestop
Also toys r us has a buy one get one 40 percent off.
@kokirii Nintendo games are expensive and very short / easy. Short and cheap is ok and expensive and long is ok but not what Nintendo is doing at the moment. (Started when the Wii was released to be unreasonable).
@GamerJunkie There's a time and place to rip Nintendo's policies, but this is not one of them.
Retail deals are what will lead people to buy a Wii U, not eShop sales. Nintendo needs to improve it's retail foothold so these stores will carry more software. They likely want us to buy their games in store to move stock and increase retailer confidence in their products. Only sales that work to this effect and improve that relationship will help.
The eShop is an alternative market that will always be there. Sales should probably complement Black Friday than compete with it. Who's to say we won't see something in the coming weeks?
@unrandomsam Yeah, whatever. They also happen to be regularly crafting the games that transcend generations and best withstand the test of time. There's a reason, in spite of your subjective analysis, Nintendo games historically maintain their value even on the secondary markets.
ebgames has a couple good deals. I got Splinter Cell Blacklist for Wii U new for half price, and I got Batman Arkham Origins Blackgate 3DS for $10 off new,so I'm pretty happy!
@unrandomsam Nintendo games are just as long as most other companies games, if anyone is guilty of short games, it would probably be more Sony
@mr_nihilism Nintendo Life for $15? I wana own this website!
I got batman black gate for 3ds only 25$..Its a sweet deal from target. waiting for silver dream team bundle come dec2nd
@Tony_342 Thanks! I had no idea toys r us's buy one get one 40% off sale also applied to pre-orders! I might get watch dogs and DKCTF now too.
I got Rayman Legends, SC Blacklist and Lego marvel superheroes for $25 each from Amazon. I'm happy!
@GamerJunkie I'm 32 and I bought my Wii U yesterday, I've had everything from C64, Master System, Saturn, Wii, and more. I'm not a child but I do like to have fun, and I'll have fun with my new console for a long time yet
I ordered Hakuoki from Aksys yesterday and found no way to apply the promised 30% discount. Express caution.
i swear like each year i always have no money when it comes to black friday like wtf? i either spend it a month before or a few weeks before black friday -__- and all cuz there is a good game coming out but oh well
