One of the treats that Monday brings is the UK software chart, which in recent times has brought some cheer for Nintendo fans. This week is little different, as Pokémon X and Pokémon Y continue in the top ten in fifth and sixth places respectively; X still holds the upper hand over Y. They've both dropped one place due to the release of Batman: Arkham Origins, though the Wii U version has made no contribution due to its rather annoying delay in Europe on Nintendo's system.
Also in the top ten we have Moshi Monsters: Katsuma Unleashed, the latest title in the hugely popular children's series on the DS and 3DS, while Animal Crossing: New Leaf is still holding steady in 19th place. The two versions of Sonic Lost World secure 20th place after its début in 11th, and The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD continues its steady loss of puff in 28th position.
These results don't account for eShop sales, of course, so the absence of Wii Party U on the platform in the UK (and Europe) — combined with the Wii MotionPlus bundle — should give the mini-game collection its best possible chance of making an impact on the charts.

Why does no one seem to be mentioning deus ex? The wii u finally got a great third party game thats better than on other formats, Is it top 40 or what?
I Missed your post marshi,i got mine online for 24 pound which is a complete bargain,i wish these releases would be supported more most websites ignored it in the run up to its release and shops arent even bothering to stock it, its a complete joke
May I still ask why they're keeping X and Y separate? I think you'd get a better idea of how they sold if you put them both together like they do for all multiplat games.
I mean the Japanese charts and NPD put them together so why not Ukie?

Really hope Wii Party U does well.
I'm worried about Wii U... Deus Ex literally doesn't exist in my country (Mexico). I've been looking at all videogame stores and they don't have it... The Wii U version of Batman Arkham Origins it's in the same situation, they just have PS3/360 versions and the employes don't even know when the Wii U version is coming and I'm 90% sure it would be the same once AC IV releases. Oh yeah, and they don't have Wii Party U also... I can go for another example, The Wonderful 101 has NOT been released here since september 15...
What's happening!? I'm willing to support 3rd Party games on Wii U but with this issues It would be very difficult if not impossible. The problem is not on the customers that "don't support" 3rd Party Games, the fault is from the distribution companies who literally don't care about giving support to distribute Wii U games/accesories/consoles outside USA or even inside. At least 1st Party games from Nintendo are always available on day one here...
@jord91 yup I got Deus ex off amazon for £24 and W101(new copy of course) too, just waiting for it to arrive here in Dublin hopefully tomorrow.
Why hasn't any sites given any notice to Deus ex? I saw a review on IGN last Friday, they seemed to like it.
@AdanVC there is something along the lines happening in Dublin too, the company that now owns HMV and Xtra-Vision don't want to support the WiiU as stock is not selling, now in HMV they have a few WiiU games but nothing that has been released since august (W101 & WWHD mainly) and Xtra-vision just point blank refuse to stock any WiiU games. Very annoying, oh well, least I know I can get any WiiU disk game from amazon, screw 'bricks'n'mortar' shops I say

So Wii U party didn't chart at all? I've been saying all along that the casual games that did so well on Wii like Wii Party and Wii Fit will bomb on Wii U. That audience just isn't there.
Because X is best version duh.

So there's some Mobile phones..i say: Big deal...all they have is Angry Birds....I'm a somewhat a casual gamer and i don't think it will bomb, just put a Few Wii U afs of obesity isdues and how it will help and BOOM! over 9000 units a minute! or so i think...but the audience is still there, we just need a Small push in the Wii U's Marketing and Audience...

If there is going to be a push, id imagine it will be once wii sports club and the the wii fit u download are available, and probably just before mario is due out, so end of november id say

That's like saying Iwata is bad because he has never been to Mars - right now, they haven't got the right vehicle to get there, regardless of what you get to put inside it...
@MadAdam81 Wind Waker reached 4th in it's first week, Wonderful 101 reached 22nd, Pikmin 3 was 2nd, Monster Hunter 3 U came in 7th and Lego City was 12th. It's perfectly possible for an exclusive Wii U game to get in the top 40 on its debut week.
