European 3DS owners have been lucky enough to enjoy weekly animated shorts of Shaun the Sheep in Nintendo Video for a number of weeks. From Aardman, the creators of Wallace & Gromit and Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists, these episodes each give about 60 seconds of charming animation and humour.
Each episode involves a lot of dedication and hard work, however, as traditional stop motion clay animation techniques are used. To give you a glimpse of how these are produced Nintendo has provided a behind the scenes documentary called Raising the Baaaa!. Check it out below, and keep an eye out for the miniature 3DS.

These little episodes are a bit meh... Pirates is a genius film though, wonder how long that took to make?
LOVE IT!!!
Cool ^^ I really enjoyed the little videos once in a while, I'm sure they put in a lot of effort to create these and they all came out very well
I can't wait to watch The Pirates! Band of Misfits, and Shaun the Sheep is always fun
So when does America get them?
That was really nice! I just love these episodes we're getting. They are such a joy to watch. I've played each one a few times and would gladly pay for them if it meant we could keep them. Hopefully folks in other regions will get to see them, too.
I love every single second of them. I'd wish the videos were 2 minutes though...
If they'd been 2 minutes long, we'd have been waiting even longer for them to show up.
@Victoria - That's a good point, they may show up for paid download at some point. I'd get them all for my son, I think. He loves them.
These are great animations, what else would you expect from Aardman anyways? My favourite was the one with the hay labyrinth, really made my day better.
