Blowk-blowk-blowk.

Music and Mario go together like Princess Peach and promises of cake, so it's good to see the two celebrated in a new set of Mario toys hitting Japan.

Inside Games reports on two new toys, set to retail for around 790 Yen ($10/£6.25/€7), each based on iconic moments from the history of Super Mario. One sees Mario descending into an iconic green pipe: push his head down and he disappears, with the classic ditty playing before he emerges from the front of the pipe ready for action.

The other set shows Mario exploiting the Koopa shell 1-up trick on a set of steps complete with the extra life jingle, something we've all done to prepare for those tricky later levels.
