Some months ago, CIRCLE Entertainment released Castle Conqueror on DSiWare, and it turned out pretty well. There was some room for improvement though, so we're hoping that the newly announced follow-up Castle Conqueror — Revolution is a better big brother.
We termed the original game a strategy game for beginners, but Revolution is aiming for a tougher challenge, with a new difficulty level and enhanced artificial intelligence promised, among other features yet to be announced.
You can read more about the game's predecessor in our Castle Conqueror review, and check out the first shots of the new title below.

Meh.
This looks a lot better than the first.
Um even with all the upgrades this game got hard at the very end. I mean really hard. Talking about the first one that is. I would definitely buy this.
My main problem was I had no idea what the upgrades precisely did, so didn't know which ones to get.
Why did they decide to make it uglier? The first game had a charming art style reminiscent of PSN's Fat Princess. Now it looks much less endearing. Just standard faux-anime characters. Yawn.
It looks like Fire Emblem.
