If that doesn't tickle your fancy then the Turbografx game for this week might interest you. In Cratermaze you must fight your way through 60 rounds of mazes to save your friends. Dinosaurs, ninjas, robots and other enemies lurk within the mazes, spanning from primitive times to the future. Escape the enemies by digging holes to trap them in and then filling the holes to finish them off. This game is not going to set the world alight but is worth a look.

I never played Wave Race the first time around, as the subject matter doesn't really interest me. Maybe I'll give it a go this time.
I knew it. Europe get always only 2 game with a N64 game. US always 3 games That is really unfair!!!
RGVEDA
Any word on borders or speed compared to the american one?
What's the PALland version of Wave Race 64 like? I seem to recall when it came out there were some complaints about how it didn't measure up to the NTSC versions. I only played it briefly at the time. I really got to love it when I had an iQue Player (which was NTSC).
Just wondering if there were any issues and if they've been fixed for the Wii release. Or am I insane and there aren't/have never been any problems with it?
Finally
No Super Metroid
Oooh! I'll definitely be downloading WR64. Although having said that, I should really complete Paper Mario first. And maybe finish off Excite Truck. Oh, and start playing Scarface. Siiiigh. So many games, so little time.
So many games...if only. I've got the four Wii games I was given at Christmas, plus five VC titles. I just don't like the choice that's there at the moment, or the fact that so many of the games I wanted this year are all coming out at Christmas.
Oh, well. I might splash out on Metroid Prime 3, but I've still got Paper Maro to finish as well. Plus I've got Wave Race Blue Storm, so I won't be spending another £7 on another N64 title.
Hi,
it's the PAL version of WR64 like on the good ol' N64 which means 20% slower speed and time.
Funny thing I noticed is that the Kawasaki adds & banners all over the courses are now replaced with for example Wii or Nintendo DS adds & banners !
Funny fact No.2: Took me exactly 1 hour to get champion in all 4 difficulties and unlock the dolphin in warm up mode .
Classic stuff. But i'll wait for Super Metroid instead.
no damn wii memory left...!!
Its sad to hear NOE have done bugger all to Wave Race 64.
I don't get it. Super Mario 64 was good enough to some treatment. So was Mairo Kart. But Wave Race isn't.
Maybe NOE thinks they have won and only did the two mentioned games becuase they were recieveing death threats over not putting 60Hz OPTIONS in
Ah... good ol' Wave Race 64. How does this bad boy play on the Gamecube pad? Can't remember the button layout and don't want a good game ruined by fiddley controls.
Another game I'd buy, except that they didn't fix the speed. For shame.
I have a US Wii and downloaded this game and its just as much fun as it used to be. Its aged really well. As I have said before the Kawasaki adverts etc were removed as the licence has long expired. The US version does have some boarders but it runs full speed of course.
Looks good but will not be getting it on account of Super Metroid is coming out tomorrow for USA.....YES!
I downloaded Wave Race 64 because I've never played it before and I hear nothing but good things about it. After I cruised a few laps around Dolphin Park I was impressed with the water effects but I didn't really see the appeal.. until I read the manual and learned that there's a pretty decent trick system in the game. I quite like the tricks, but I need to learn how to handstand on the handlebars while jumping off a ramp without falling off my craft.
Good game, get it if you like water sport games.
