Welcome to our complete story walkthrough of Super Mario RPG on Nintendo Switch and SNES.
Mario and company have just saved the Mole Mines from disaster and obtained the third Star Piece. Now it’s time to head to Booster Pass and give chase to a group of Snifits you saw in Moleville earlier. They were talking about someone named Booster who apparently loves beetles.

Booster Pass Enemies
Spikester
An upgraded version of the Spikey enemies you fought earlier in the game. They’re pretty much the same — meaning that they're immune to Jump attacks — but they have increased stats.
Artichoker
These guys blend right into the background! It can use Bowyer’s Static E! spell, so take it out first whenever you see it on the battlefield. It’s immune to Mallow’s Thunderbolt spell and can recover its health.
Carroboscis
This evil carrot-like thing can inflict all sorts of status ailments on your party members, so take it out before it becomes a problem.
Lakitu
Like all flying enemies in Super Mario RPG, the Lakitu are weak to Jump attacks. So... get jumping!
Apprentice
These look like the Snifits from earlier, but they're not. However, they're fairly easy to deal with. Just use your normal or your best attacks to take them down.
Booster Pass Walkthrough
This area is pretty straightforward, despite what it might look like. Before you continue, there are a few secrets to uncover in this area!
Hidden Treasure 16 - On top of bush
Hop up the cliff to your left and go to the room's northwest corner. Stand on top of the bush (artichoke?) and jump to reveal a Hidden Treasure Box with a Flower inside.
Hidden Treasure 17 - East hill
At the northeast corner of the room on the cliff, stand at the middle north corner to reveal a second Hidden Treasure with a Rock Candy inside.
Take the northeast exit. Ignore the cliffs for now and continue along the ground to find a Flower. Head southeast a few steps to find a hidden switch that automatically defeats all the Spikesters hiding in the cliffs above.
Here you'll also find a hidden NPC who will sell you Thought Peek details for Frog Coins!
Return to the room’s entrance and ascend the cliffs. Keep going this way and you’ll make it to the entrance of Booster Tower, your next dungeon, where you'll also spot a familiar face...
