Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Guide: Victory Road - How To Get The Electric Badge

How to get to Levincia Gym

Levincia is one of the biggest cities in the Paldea region. Full of shops, this bustling marina is north of Artazon, and it's pretty hard to miss — especially at night when blue and yellow spotlights are shining in the sky.

If you're coming from Artazon, you can jump off the cliff riding Koraidon/Miraidon or you can take the much safer path and leave the city from Artazon (East Pokémon Center). You'll also pass Team Star's Fire Crew base on the way.

Once you're in East Province (Area Two) you're almost there.

Levincia's gym is on the southern side of town — the side where you enter from if you're coming from Artazon.

Gym Test - Find Mister Walksabout

When you talk to the receptionist, you find out that in order to challenge the gym leader, you'll need to star in one of her streams. And you'll be playing a little game, as well as battling some trainers, as part of that.

The Test begins as soon as you leave the gym, where the gym leader — Iono — introduces you to the world. You also get to meet Mister Walksabout, who is a very familiar figure at the Academy...

Now you have to play Pokémon's take on Where's Wally? and spot Mister Walksabout in three separate still images. Here is where you will find him in the first sho, hiding behind a parasol:

After this, you'll have to fight a Gym Trainer. He comes with a level 22 Luxio, so Clodsire, Klawff, Nacli, and any Ground-type Pokémon are perfect.

Now you need to find Mister Walksabout a second time. This time, he's replaced the Pokémon Center staff:

Another Gym Trainer will challenge you to help get the internet amped up. They have two Pokémon, both level 22 — a Tynamo and a Flaaffy. These are both pure Electric-types again, so the same Pokémon you used before will be good.

The third and final location for Mister Walksabout is a little trickier — you'll need to find a pin-sized person on a boat, right next to the gym arena:

And that's it! You'll have satisfied Iono's fans and the streamer herself, and will pass the Test.

Once you're ready to take on the Supercharged Streamer, go and speak to the receptionist at the gym.

How To Beat Gym Leader Iono, The Electric-type Gym Leader

Iono's hyperactive personality isn't just for show — she's charged up with a team of Electric-types, headed up by a rather powerful Mismagius that will, like a flash of lightning, Terastallize into an Electric-type.

Electric types only have one weakness — Ground. However, Iono has a Wattrel, which means it's immune to Ground-type moves. Therefore, Rock and Ice-type Pokémon are also recommended. Like above, Clodsire, Nacli, and Klawff are all great picks. You might also want a Normal-type like Oinkolonge to counter any Ghost-type moves from Mismagius.

You should be able to give Iono the shock of her life, and when you do, she'll give you the Electric Bade and TM048 Volt Switch.
