This is just all of the new Wii U & 3DS owners trying to do system updates, etc. I'm soooo glad that I opened ours up a couple of week ago and did all that and then packaged it back up before wrapping it for my family. I would bet that if you wait until late late tonight that things will quiet down a little.

Finally got my Wii U woo but was having trouble downloading the system update yesterday. Haven't tried it yet today, gonna try it in a minute and i hope it works finally
I did all the updates and downloaded all the demos and wii sports plus last week before I wrapped the wii u, but now i want to get NES remix and the eshop has been down since Christmas morning. I cant believe we are still waiting for it to come back up. Im dying to start NES remix.

After plenty of errors and failures to connect I forced my way through eShop and got CastleStorm. After that the download is going pretty quick lol
Ya. The eShop still isn't really working right now. I can go to the site, but I can't buy anything. Meh. I'll just wait until it's completely good to go.
I bought a $50 eShop card at Best Buy for $40. They still have that deal going on.

I got home from work 4 1/2 hours ago and since then the eshop allowed me to add funds and after that everytime I try to download NES remix it goes all the way to 0% and then comes up with an error. But, after several times attempts It finally installed. now that it is 130 in the morning I'm going to wait till tomorrow to play but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait it seems like if you try hard enough the shop will pull through finally
