Muljo, it changes my name to that because of a "bug" supposedly. Don't worry.

That boss you talk about is the last dark world dungeon's boss, excluding Ganon. I'd like to think by the time you get there you would definitely have four bottles and could afford four blue potions instead of fairies, in which case you can restore health and magic completely (just not automatically, but no problem, use it whenever you're down to three hearts). Yes, they are obscure locations, but the thing about that is, if you are struggling with the game like I did when I was a kid, then you end up spending most of your time wandering around randomly looking for stuff, and you're more likely to come across them. I think some don't play Zelda this way, rushing instead to the next dungeon without exploring the overworld sufficiently, and that does turn it into a hard game.

Then again, if you really want to play it and have trouble, you can find them using a guide. I wish I had that option to beat a Mega Man game, but unfortunately there it is all dependent on your skill.

Come on, friends,
To the bear arcades again.

Well, Mega Man focuses a lot more on fighting, too, haha. I still can't beat a single NES Mega Man. Even 9 (which I consider NES since it practically is), which was made so much easier with that shop, was too hard for me to beat Wily, and that's the farthest I've gotten in any of them. I haven't play 4-6 in a long time, and I hear they're easy, so I hope they come out on VC.

Adam, don't expect a lot of forgiveness out of 4-6.
Mega Man 2 is the easiest one of the series, by a mile.

OP, you should do them Zelda-chronologically, imo. I believe that would put you at:
Ocarina of Time -> Majora's Mask -> Twilight Princess -> Wind Waker -> Zelda -> A Link to the Past -> Zelda II
