I've a problem with my screen which I previously only experienced with Rune Factory Frontier, and I kinda ignored it and accepted that I was gonna lose a few inches off my screen and it was probably just the game, but now it's happening with Monster Hunter Tri after buying the ultimate hunter edition and I haven't even played the game yet as I want to fix this.
16:10 and 16:9 are the settings I can change on my TV, and I usually let it stretch a little to fit the whole screen with the 16:10 setting. It's just frustrating as I see the smaller rectangle with the game, inside the bigger rectangle, and the smaller rectangle just needs to get.. bigger. I suspect the problem may be that the game is 16:10 but my Wii 16:9? But I'm really not sure. The game just doesn't want to use the far left and right sides of my screen and other games work fine (as well as the wii menu etc) and fit perfectly.
Anyone have any experience / knowledge with this problem? :/
It's a compromise Tri made for image quality IIRC, the Japanese version wasn't like that and the image quality was apparently downgraded when it played in widescreen mode.
