So... I have Spectrobes, and it's great. I have Final Fantasy: Echoes of Time, and it's a decent play. I know Shinen is on the way, and it will be great. I love Fire Emblem, as hard as it is.
The question is - what other RPGs are on the way for the Wii for the next year? I don't know of any...
Can't think of any links offhand aside from the obvious places to look, IGN, Youtube, Wikipedia, etc. And since my eyes are about to force themselves shut, I'll have to leave the searching to you. Arc Rise Fantasia looks the best out of the three, I think, though I haven't seen much of any of them.
Oh yea, forgot about Phantom Brave. I barely played that game. Didn't like the look of it or the story, and the battle system was a bit convoluted for my tastes.
Rune Factory Frontier - okay, more like Harvest Moon with RPG elements, but it's still all in good fun Phantom Brave: We Meet Again - a remake of an underrated Nis Strategy-RPG game Super Paper Mario - It's Mario with a Non-linear level design, an interesting gameplay mechanic that leads to some awesome puzzles, and a health bar. In other words, it's what I always wanted from a Mario game! Dokopan Kingdom - A cross between an RPG and a board game. Pretty fun with friends. Chocobo's Dungeon - Despite its horrible story, it's a great Rogue-like RPG, and the best we've got until Shiren The Wanderer comes out(assuming they don't bung it up) Arc Rise Fantasia - All I know about it is that the combat reminds me a lot of Chrono Trigger Shiren The Wanderer - The 3rd game in a sub-series of the Mystery Dungeon series, which are the only games that aren't based on already established properties. We already got either the first or second game in the U.S., and it was a blast, IMO. Can't wait for the third one, and I hope the 4th one, which is already in development, soon follows.
...that's about all I'm I'm willing to endorse. There are more, but I'm not gonna bother to list them.
I completely forgot about Phantom Brave, I need to pick that one up.
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
Super Paper Mario an RPG? Hardly. It took a big step away from it's predecessors. The original Paper Mario's actually had turn based battles. Now it's been turned into a watered down platformer with healing items. The game offers absolutely no challenge. Even the pit of 100 trials are cake. Here is a youtube video. Here is what you basically do throughout the game.
@grenworthshero I'll make you a deal, if you can get Baroque for less than $15 get it and if you don't like it, I'll buy it back from you and pay for the shipping. It's a no lose situation then
I am the one you despise. I am he who says what you really deep down know but are affraid to admit. I am the Anti-Fanboy, the crusader of truth in a world built on your lies.
Although it doesn't measure up to Colosseum or XD, I don't think Pokemon Battle Revolution is as bad as a lot of people think. Even without the DS games, you can still have a lot of fun with the rental Pokemon and switch them out for better rental Pokemon in the Gateway Colosseum after you beat all of the colosseums once.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
