I've only had my Wii a few months, just so you know. Anyway, I just bought the Wii Zapper and have a Wii-mote installed in it, which I'd like to leave that way. My problem is that when I play Wii Resort the console insists that all Wii-motes have motion plus connected, even with just playing one player games. Is there a way to stop the console from looking for all wii-motes? TYVM
I'm having trouble understanding the question. When you use one player you use a remote that is not in the zapper right? But it keeps telling you to put a motion plus on the one in the zapper?
From my experience when you play the wii doesn't seek the remotes, you turn them on by pressing a button on it, then they pick up the signal and they're on. When you play do you turn all of them on, or does a button accidently get pressed on the zapped one? I'm kinda puzzled on this one.
That's what I'm wondering, Peach, does the game pick up all remotes regardless of them being on, or is the remote in the zapper on when you play? If it's the latter, make sure that that remote is off and remains off before playing WSR...

Press the Home button, press Wii Remote Settings, press Reconnect (or a button that says something like that) which will turn off all Wiimotes. Press 1+2 together on the Wiimote you're using, and wait for the lights to stop flashing (just the first light will remain lit). Press Home a few times to get back to the game.
OR.... you can wait for Nintendo to announce the Wii-mote pro at E3 next month. It will be a standard Wii-mote which features M+ built in, you heard it here first
@Will_Ireland - this will not happen, and I really hope it never happens. Total rip off to consumers if it does. They're bundling Wii's with WM+ right now..

@mnementh... I just grabbed a Wii with Wii Motion Plus and I am waiting to see it it in fact does happen. I really think it will. Remember Nintendo is not stranger to releasing something and shortly thereafter bringing another out. DS Lite/DSi/DSXL proves that one. I get really tired of taking it on and off constantly between Resort and MH Tri.
Will suck for you guys that have already bought more, but hey, Nintendo has always done this stuff.

@mnementh Oh, its happening! They're bundling Wii's with WM+ right now to get rid of all that WM+ stock. C'mon, it's only the natural evolutuion of the Wiimote, embrace it! Remember, E3, Wii-mote Pro, and you heard it here first!
I'll be extremely disappointed if it does, but yeah it's a possibility. I don't see what's the point though. You can play EVERY game with the WM+ so if you play WM+ games just don't take it off. The only game it might bother is NSMBWii...

I don't think it's a big problem, but the Wii Wheel and the Zapper require you to take the M+ off to use them.
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
I keep one remote un-jacketed and un-plused for the Wheel. Whilst you can play anything with the plus attachment, playing games that use the remote on its side are pretty awkward with that thing sticking out to be honest.
I could definitely see upgrading a couple of my remotes to a "Remote Pro" and then having the the plus attachments for the debug Wii and that magical day when I have a multiplayer session that involves more than two people and motion-plus! Nah, I'll probably just sell it...
