Topic: Wii games you no longer own and why

Wii Sports- I have Wii Sports Resort and the game is just a demo disc anyway
Wii Play- the game is a demo disc and I plan to get WPM
Sonic and the Secret Rings- awful
Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night- got boring
Crash of the Titans- got bored with it
Excite Truck- got bored with it
Mario Party 8- way too complex
Mario Strikers Charged- awful
Metroid: Other M- too frustrating
Sega Superstars Tennis- I got MPT instead and I could never unlock Shadow

wow, after selling all that you might have been able to afford ONE NEW GAME. Maybe you could get even get something from the dollar store later too!

Now, I actually sold games that genuinely were mediocre/not really worth having on Wii instead of my horrible decisions with GCN (selling PM:TTYD and Super Monkey Ball 2 immediately come to mind). And only a couple or so games.

-that Spongebob launch game. Brother got it, can't entirely blame him. The GCN games were so much better than they had any right to be and it seemed to have a clever concept but oh god was this game boring.
-Marvel Ultimate Alliance: My brother sold this, I couldn't care less about this game. It was just Xmen Legends except far worse from what I remember.
-Red Steel: I only got this game w/ No More Heroes for the price of one game. It isn't even if this game is as generic as everyone said it was, but it didn't even do Wii FPS that well, especially compared to Metroid Prime 3 or Goldeneye or probably Red Steel 2.
-Nights Wii: Oh lord no. The only good thing I can say is I enjoyed the traditional Nights levels (even though I've never played the original) and trying to explore areas as the kid. Oddly this game is where I got the idea I really wanted to play a platformer with exploration. Which is odd as I think the game penalizes you for daring to not play the way the game wants you to or something. But everything else in this game was infuriating so I can only imagine how fans felt. The bad controls, one of the most unnecessary stories ever, bad voice acting without even being that amusing like Sonic games and how unfun or unfair every less traditional level is (not to mention a LUCK BASED BOSS).
-Samba De Amigo: Ok, so I can imagine how Nights fans felt. Because when I heard Samba De Amigo was coming back, I knew I had to get the game. Seriously, I loved the original game, it was probably my rhythm game until Rhythm Heaven. But somehow Sega messed this up. This is why I never played Sonic Unleashed or Colors with Wii controls, I refuse to believe Sega knows how to use them even tolerably. Ok, to put it simple, this is pratically a port of the original game, and somehow they broke the controls. It is partially luck if you succeed in any level in this game. Seriously, this is just astoundingly horrible. How are unable to make the controls work for a RHYTHM GAME that you made work in the SAME WAY BEFORE. How does such levels of fail even exist?

I've only gotten rid of Boom Blox Bash Party. It wasn't bad, but I couldn't really envision myself playing it very much.

Mario Party 8. Such drivel. Bleh

Resident Evil 4

• I felt it had no re-playability and I knew I wasn't going to replay the story mode.

Excite Truck

• I feel bad for selling this. It was such a fun game. Thinking about getting it again. Would be awesome with a continuation on WiiU.

Mario Part 8

• It was just a bad game IMO. Nintedo usually have high production values, but MP8 just felt rushed and unfinished.

Red Steel

• Was fun for multiplayer. But it's one of the buggiest shooters I've ever played. I had loads of fun with it though.

Red Steel 2

• If it had multiplayer I would probably have kept it. The graphics are gorgeous and the controls are amazing. But nothing I would replay.

MadWorld

• Short but lovely. Not much replayability though.

Tatsunoku Vs. Capcom

• I was hoping for a chaotic fighter. But this one was, ironically, a bit to serious for me. Didn't enjoy it.

Okami

• The singleplayer was just so dragged out. I honestly sold it just because I was tired of it. I would never replay that game tbh.

Sin & Punishment 2

• Lovely game, but nothing I would replay more than once.

Punch Out Wii

• Kind of regret I got rid of it. It was quite a lot of fun, but it got sold because of my bad economy at the time.

Mario Strikers Charged Footbal

• Really neat and fun footbal/brawler. Also regret I got rid of this, but it was for the same reason as punch out. Needed the cash.

The only one I can think of at this moment is

Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II: After playing the first on on the Wii with the interactive controls I figure this one would be just as good if not better. Boy was I wrong. They switched the controls so that you didn't move the Wiimote to swing the light saber but rather you press the A button. Plus I felt that the story wasnt as good as the first one.

Conduit 2 -
Worst multiplayer experience on Wii.

That's saying a lot.

It is. Considering it's laggy, day one glitchers/hackers, poor customizations and dull map layouts (all of which are off the top of my head), makes it awfully mediocre compared to Black Ops on Wii. (Which is also mediocre.)

Get this I was at my family cottage and my brother had some of my games that I was going to use for a trade 2 get LOZ ocarina of time 3d. He had about 7 of my games and I arranged them in what ways to exchange them if the store wouldn't exept any one of them . Well my mom took them before my brother thinking she heard the conversation right, traded in ALL the games for money and not the deal! But the kicker is she bought twilight princess ( whichi finished a couple of times) with the money that the store took from the games. When my brother got back he told her about how the plan should have gone and she traded to back for a profit of like 5 dollars and then used money that I later had to pay her back for. I lost blazing angels ps3 cooking mama I think motor storm Mario party 8 Mario and sonic Olympics and another Nintendo title that I can't remember.

Metroid: Other M - Loved the game and beat it, but the story was painfully horrible I also hated the point and find moments and having to go first person to shoot missiles, but mostly the story.

Agreed...I guess. But mostly I only still have this game because it's insta-classic riffing material and because after Prime I am required to own every Metroid game ever made (which reminds me I need to get Metroid 2 so my collection is complete)

I honestly haven't taken back any of my Wii games. And I have a good bit. I just don't know of any worth never being able to play again or have, for getting 2 dollars back for something I paid 50 for.

Ninjabread Man? The only time I even heard of it was reviews calling it the worst Wii game ever made (which would be an accomplishment, given the number of crappy Wii games )
