For those interested on buying the Wii Fighting Stick from Hori they have it on Fry's for 40 bucks! I just bought mine and I'm really pleased. They also have the Castlevania Judgement for $ 15. Hope anyone can find this info useful, have fun!

I was going to post something similar - Gamestop has the same stick for $40 as well (in stores, not on their website). Amazon usually has things cheaper, but they're still selling it for $50. It was very tempting for Tatsunoko vs Capcom, but not in the budget right now.

I've heard the Tatsunoko vs Capcom Fightstick is much better quality than the Hori so it's less likely you'll need to mod it, plus it lets you use the stick for the CC analog sticks instead of the D-pad so you can use it with more games, so I'm not sure it's worth the savings to get the Hori stick.

You can use the Hori Joystick with almost any game from the VC or Wii game that takes Classic Controller, that's why I get this one. The Tatsunoko vs. Capcom is nice but it cost 79 bucks brand new in amazon that's 40 bucks more than the Hori one, the difference on price it's too much for my budget and not that much worth it (in my opinion). I tried both and I can't feel any big difference, or at least not bigger enough to justified 40 bucks more.

Ahh I'm so tempted to get the Tatsunoko Vs Capcom Fighting Stick...Yet I prefer to use a traditional control instead actually...So Classic Controller it is or my Wii RetroPort Snes Controller

but still, I'd love to have one of these...But I think I'll save the cash.

I like the Classic Controller but I just got the other day SNK King of Fighter Collection (14 bucks on Costco) and I just can't play more than half an hour with the Classic. My thumb hurts! hehehe

I agree with iphys. It's possible to use the TvC stick with Brawl. And it's great to support this whole game through the stick as well. Capcom is getting something for the design etc.

If I buy a stick I'm going to go with X-Gaming's X-Arcade Joystick.

It looks really nice but personally I just can't justified 100 bucks on a Joystick.
Does anyone know where to find Samurai Showdown collection? Any suggestions for fighting games for the Wii or VC?

$100 for a joystick seems crazy when you're used to seeing $20 gamepads everywhere, but when you consider how much you pay for a system and games, having a good joystick is worth it.

I got the Tatsunoko Fightstick today, and I'm really impressed. You can even open it up and rotate the joystick gate to go from 8-way to 4-way, which is good for games like Tetris. Bit.Trip Void with 8-way instead of the CC analog stick works really well, and I even played it with 4-way for fun and almost managed to make it through the whole game, heh, heh.
