Yeah I've really enjoyed Mario Kart, The best game to play with friends has to be in my opinion Wii Sports, I recently played wii Sports with a friend all night as we waited for the first GP (Australian GP) to come on and now he wants to buy a Wii!! I've also enjoyed Mario tennis, the biggest thing I like the most about the Wii is the VC, I'm Sorry guys but it's just my view. For me the VC gives me the chance to play some of the games I missed out on.
The Godfather and RE4 both were pretty amazing. We need a Wii-based GTA. Strangling people with my Wiimote/Nunchuck in The Godfather was WAY too fun! (And stress relieving after work!)
^If anyone has not picked this game up... It is EXTREMELY cheap, especially used. I picked The Godfather up for $15 new at a Gamestop sale 6 months ago, and I haven't seen the price go up much at all since. A real great value for a 20+ hour sandbox game with over 30 gestures, level ups, and IR aiming. Also has a nice character creator, and a classic story that follows along with the movie (Marlon Brando FTW).
EDIT: I know that The Godfather was multi-platform. But I've played this game for the PS2 and 360 and they felt like a cheap GTA knockoff, on the Wii... This game stood out with all of the extras crammed into it, just rent/buy the game... You'll see!
I know this is surprising but I loved Sonic & The Black Knight. Collecting weapons, items a bunch of missions, for me it felt almost like an RPG because of those upgradings you could do not just on Sonic but also on Lancelot (Shadow), Gawain(Knuckles) and Percival(Blaze). In my opinion definetely worth the buy!

I don't know why I'm saying don't laught ... but dont laugh Family Ski and snowboard is my favorite game so far with Disaster Day of Crisis bringing up the rear.
