Oh right, guilty pleasures... hmm... I'm sure there are some browser games I used to play regularly that I wouldn't be proud of remembering...

Plants Vs Zombies is the closest I can think of. PopCap struck gold with that one though. It's plenty respectable, original and fun. The zombies are strangely... adorable. O_o How can this be?!

Oh, here's one. Robot Unicorn Attack on iphone. I play that way too much for my own sanity and then I walk around singing "Always" by Erasure.

I have never started a thread on NL. Maybe I'm scared of dragons and chickens.

By the standardish definition of guilty pleasure, my game is totally Sonic R. D:

By the definition in the OP... the Metal Gear Solid franchise and Resident Evil 4? I'm not fond of either stealth or survival horror games normally. D:

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I'm a sucker for dating games. None of the options on DS have been particularly good, but I enjoy ploughing through them for the sheer novelty of it. I'd've bought Sexy Poker too if the bare breasts had remained intact. =P

My guiltiest pleasure however would have to be the PAL region exclusive U-Sing series on Wii. I wouldn't dare play that game with another soul lurking in the room.

Porygon did nothing wrong.

EDIT: I thought this was for any platform, LOL!

How exactly is that a guilty pleasure? Jazz Jackrabbit 2 is an excellent game.

There's no reason to be guilty about Super Meat Boy! It's a self-described tough-as-nails platformer! It's harder than N+! Meat Boy himself is awesomesauce! Bandage Girl is hawt! Doctor Fetus is evil beyond evil! The first world's opening parodies Street Fighter II's opening! You can't ask for any more or less than that! I like exclamation marks!!!!

Please don't talk about Super Meat Boy. I bought it three weeks ago in the steam sale and STILL can't get it to run NO MATTER WHAT I'VE TRIED. Why would they purposefully put out a buggy and unfixed game!? (for many people, not just me)

They forgot the Space Jump Boots.

The game has been patched for the most part. Runs fine for me.

1st.

2nd. No it is not buggy. No it is not unfixed. Get a better computer, and don't blame the developers for what you have. You bought the game, and you should have known if it would run.

Umm...probably Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers. I don't really feel guilty about it, I guess, but I'm not going to go around to every person I meet telling them that's what I'm playing.

I'm generally interested in RPG's but either haven't got enough time to really follow their story or i'm thinking too much about what i should buy, what stats i should upgrade, who should be in my party, where i should go again etc.
That said so far Dragon Quest IV on the DS is the only traditional RPG i played until the end. (Mostly because it is easy to decide which spells and items are the best in your situation.)

And i don't really like sports games. But Nintendo World Cup on the NES, the Punch Out series and many of the Mario sports games really float on my boat.

Well, I was always more of a 3D platform games type.
But Jazz Jackrabbit proved me wrong, it was the first 2D game of its type I played, and it grew on me, although I still don't play many of those kinds of games.

For me it's Pokemon. When the 1st Pokemon games came out I just turned 20, so the games weren't really marketed towards me. & when it became hugely popular, I just despised it, especially when people would compare it to DragonBall Z, which I was hugely into at the time.

Anyway, fast forward 10 yrs, I bought Brawl, & it got me curious about many of the characters I didn't know, mostly the Pokemon characters. So I downloaded a rom of Pokemon Red, discovered I liked it, & bought Platinum the next week. When my best friend found out I not only bought, but liked a Pokemon game, he freaked out.

I still think he hates it, but he's trying to hide it around me now.

Flandre Scarlet, she's cute, she's colorful, she can blow up entire cities, she's also a vampire. Start running sparklepants.

Ha, nice! That's on my "guilty pleasure" list as well.

Epic Mickey. I always feel childish when I play it, mostly because Mickey Mouse is now mostly associated with a preschooler's TV show. The game isn't really childish, though.

This makes me feel sad. =(

But anyway, I don't think I have a guilty pleasure.

That game rocks. One of the few decent licensed games. Or maybe it's just because I used to be completely obsessed with Rugrats.
