I played Symphony of the Night for the first time recently, all the way through. Next year I'll do it again if I remember...great Halloween game. Today I did a quick run through Castlevania Rebirth on WiiWare. I really enjoy that one.
Oh, come to think of it, I also played through and beat Castlevania IV for the first time last weekend. I guess I'm on a Castlevania kick without even realizing it!
I played Akumajou Dracula X Chi no Rondo and completed it 100% for the third time late last month (and reviewed it early this month); and I got farther in Castlevania: Symphony of the Night (my gosh, that difficulty spike was ridiculous). My cousin let me borrow Scooby-Doo Mystery for the SNES, but I'm stuck in the third stage (the farthest I've gone in that game yet). I tried to play Porky Pig's Haunted Holiday on the SNES (for a review) all the way through (like I always do when I play it), until I encountered a glitch by accident that caused me to be trapped with no way to progess, which resulted in making me turn off the game, making it the first time I ever played it without beating it.
Oh, sorry, I thought it wasn't restricted to just VC.
Dead space for the Wii. Someone had mention that game in a similar thread and I manage to find a copy for 15 bucks a few weeks ago. Not very far into it yet but so far so good.
Edit: which isn't on VC, whoops Didn't see which forum this was in until atfer post...
It's ok cheapogamer4life. I actually really liked Chicken Brutus's pick. I am wondering though if other people are playing games from the VC in the spirit of Halloween.

Nothing intentionally, but I did play that Dark Manor course in Epic Yarn so I guess that counts. Usually I play Zombies ate My Neighbor, but I didn't get around to it this year.

First of all, I hate the horror genre. Second, between church, football, the World Series, the Amazing Race, and a book I'm reading, I haven't had time for gaming today (unless you count this year's Runescape Halloween Event).
Ash: Professor Oak, how's your Bulbasaur?
Prof. Oak: Oh, it only hurts when I sit.
...
Prof. Oak: It's only Chansey if Krabby won't let go. Bye, now.
Ash: I don't think I'm going to call him anymore.
Have been playing Castlevania (the original) this week, and was playing some of the Undead Nightmare expansion for Red Dead Redemption (which is really sweet).
Oh I can't wait for my PS3 to return from gophermods. Castlevania: LoS and Dead Rising 2 are waiting to be played. Plus I'm definitely downloading the Undead Nightmare expansion pack. I think I'll just download the bundle. I believe it's the three expansions for $20.

Fragile. Its sense of lonliness is scarier than pretty much any survival-horror game and that traveling shop guy is legitimately creepy as hell.
Sounds like a great choice...I should have bought it when I first layed eyes.
Though in the spirit on halloween...I was playing Arc Rise Fantasia. Wait what? Yeah coulda gone with Luigi's Mansion (closest to a halloween appropriate game I have), but it's the game im currently working on. I did go through a creepy cave, so I guess that counts =P

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
I played the same game that I played the past 2 Holloweens; Doom on the PSX. I was gonna play some Symphony of the NIght, but I never got around to it.
Was playing some Monster Hunter 3 (what, it's related to monsters, lol) and/or Plants Vs. Zombies. xD Yeah I'm not much of a Halloween person actually. lol
Wait shouldn't this be under the "Other Gaming" section? xD
I would have thought the topic had fitted the "Other Gaming" category, BellGoRiiing, if I had been referring to gaming other than virtual console. I still welcome all responses even if what other Nintendo Lifers are playing may not be a virtual console game.
