I honestly heard about this HD wii thing, but i cant remember if i heard about that as a joke or not xD Can someone please clear this rumor out xD.

Its not a joke, it is a rumor since it hasn't been announced but there is a lot of speculation. Also, I read somewhere that Nintendo has been spending a lot of money each year on research and development. You can google.

There's an emulator that was used to play some Wii games at HD resolutions but an official Wii HD is extremely unlikely.

I think it might as well be, as the much praised Wii HD emulation hack-job that was all over the web a few days ago didn't look discernibly better than 480p - in my admittedly worthless opinion.
