What games do you want to see on the Virtual Console DSi?

What games do you expect on the Virtual Console DSi?

What else do you hope for in the coming release?

I expect the obvious choices - the Marios, Zeldas, Metroid II...

I expect Nintendo to release Rare's Donkey Kong Land trilogy as well as maybe the GBA ports of the DKC games. I see ports like Super Mario Bros. DX and the Super Mario Advance series being available too.

I want the obvious features - Transfer Pak emulation, Game Link emulation... And colourized GB games, with the option to turn colour off.

Super Game Boy enhancements would be nice too. ^^

Predictions:

GB Launch Games:
Super Mario Land
Super Mario Bros. DX
Donkey Kong 94
Kirby's Dreamland
Wave Race
Game & Watch Gallery
Pokémon Puzzle Challenge

GBA Launch Games:
F-Zero: Maximum Velocity
Wario Land 4

Give me Pokemon Gold and Silver and I'm good.

Also, Pokemon Red, Mario Land 1 & 2, Metroid 2, any Wario Land (didn't play them all, but they seemed fun), F-Zero Maximum Velocity, and um... It has been too long since I've had a Game Boy. I forget what games I used to have.

Links Awakening and the Oracle series is what I would want, also Minnish Cap from GBA, and Sonic and Ristar on Gamegear and some mini fighters on Neo Geo pocket along that versions Sonic.

I never played Wonderswan so hopefully that will be added in time, back to Gameboy and the Final Fantasy games and Wario games would be a must.

It'll be great being able to play old classics without having to resort to the shady world of illegal ROMs.

I hope to see:
Link's Awakening
Golden Sun I and II
Tactics Ogre: Knight of Lodis
Robopon Sun
Robopon II
The Pokemons
Survival Kids
Dragon Quest Monsters 3 (never released here)
Mother 3 (never released here either )
Magi-Nation
Monster Rancher Advanced

Scared of the future, but bored with the past.

The stuff I really want:
Game & Watch Gallery 2 (GB)
Game & Watch Gallery 3 (GBC)
Game & Watch Gallery 4 (GBA)
Kirby's Dreamland (GB)
Kirby's Dreamland 2 (GB)
The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Four Swords (GBA) (Preferably with SNES controls)
Metroid II: Return of Samus (GB)
Mother 3 (GBA)
Sonic Pocket Adventure (NGPC)
Super Mario Land (GB)
Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins (GB)
Tetris (GB)
Zelda Game & Watch (G&W)
Zelda Game Watch (G&W)

I'd also like to pile on Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages and Oracle of Seasons to my wishlist, even though I already own them, because the DS has a far superior D-pad to the Gameboy machines I have (I own a regular GBA, not an SP or a Micro). I can easily live with the carts though.
I'd imagine Pokémon Gold would be quite fun to get everything on again, but I'd probably do it with Crystal instead. I might get Red or Blue if they didn't fix MissingNo. in them. I loved abusing that thing.

All GB games that had Super Gameboy support or Gameboy Color enhancements should have those options. It would also be nice if Nintendo (or whoever else made the games) added colour to their black and white games. Again, this should be optional. As mentioned by others, Transfer Pak and Link Cable substitution for games like Pokémon should also be added.

In response to some of your posts:

I think Link's Awakening DX will be released within a few months of the DSi Virtual Console's release. The Oracle games will get a simultaneous release probably next year, with The Minish Cap coming the year after. A Link to the Past may come out before Link's Awakening DX.

Call me crazy, but Mother 3 will come someday. In full English, too.

You're crazy.

Metroid games (both of them), Street Fighter Alpha 3, DKC, couple of others that escape my mind at the moment.

For some strange reason...Mole Mania.

Well, I WAS going to get a DSi, Reggie.
(In reality, my DS Lite has a bad hinge but still works well enough to use Pal Park from time to time, so DSi would naturally be my next step. I've been discouraged, though, after reading about a lack of Virtual Console...)

I bought a DSi hoping that there would be a GB/A Virtual Console on it. If it does happen it's possibly a ways off then. Nintendo would be crazy not to make it happen...Im sure the DSi can easily play GBA games...all Nintendo would have to do is put them up for download and it's easy money (im sure there are other factors too).

But then again, this is Nintendo and they mostly do what they want and not what thier fans want.

Got to agree with the editor there: Reggie is a very ambiguous interviewee. I initially thought he meant "talked about internally," too, which would be bizarre. There's no way they never at least talked about it. I'm hoping he means "commented on" as in "in interviews and public statements."

The Harvest Moon games would be a must for inclusion for GB games, also GBA Kingdom Hearts I haven't played much of it, but it seemed like an interesting game.

REGGIE!!!
I hate you. If there ISN'T a Virtual Console equivalent, then I'll be waiting for another few plus sides to the DSi, so it makes 4.
I saw a Virtual Handheld as 2 plusses, whilst the other 2 were DSiWare and DSi enhanced cards.

If not, I'll be buying a PS3.

I really think that's being taken out of context, and I'd presume it to mean that it's not public info at this time. Time will tell though.

Hmm... thing is with me, the GB was the first, and most loved console I had. I pretty much have all the games I want on the GB/C/A. However I'd like to see some obsquere GB titles that more people missed out on to be released if Nintendo ever does a virtual Console on the DSi.

This is what I'd like to see...

Tetris Plus
Mario's Picross
Mole Mania
Revenge of the 'Gators
Balloon Kid
Boy and his Blob 2: The Rescue of Princess Blobette
MasterBlaster Boy
FinalFantasy Adventure / MysticQuest Adventure / Seiken Densetsu 1
GameBoy Wars
Ganbare Goemon
Kid Icarus: Of Myths and Monsters
Kirby's Star Stacker
Legend of the River King
Motocross Maniacs (I actually have this game, but I would so download this if I had a chance!)
Ninja Gaiden Shadow (I had this game! and aprantly it's the rarest of the NG games, if only I knew! what's funny was that this game was based on another Ninja game that Natsume was making before it was bought by Tecmo)
Quarth (a really unknown puzzle game made buy Konami! the only reason why I know his game is because of the flyer I got with my GB TMNT game I had back in the day!)
Radar Mission (again, I have this game, but it was a brilliant version of BattleShips that came with a Submarine shooter too!)
Solar Striker (The only top-down sh'ump that I think Nintendo made!)
Tetris Blast
Wave Race (Yes, the original before the N64 game)

I think that's all I can think of, and yes I'll admit I did use Wikipedia to remind myself of the names, but that's what I think they need to put up because I reccon it would make a change from the games that would come out, stuff that I already own.
