Whenever there is a lack of VC games released on a Nintendo Download day, there are scores of complaining comments, the news articles being bombarded with rampant complaining along the lines of "OH NOEZ NO VC GAME I'M LOSING FAITH IN YOU NINTENDO" or "WAAAH NO VC GAME THIS SUCKS, YOU SUCK NINTENDO."
And then when there is a lack of WiiWare or DSiWare games, there are nowhere near as many complaints. Why is that? Are you guys retro purists or something? If you are, then that's just as bad as a guy who only goes for new games.
Before anyone says, "because VC is better and the other two services have too much crap," that's not a valid argument: There is as much turd on VC as there is on WiiWare and DSiWare.
EDIT: ...you're funny, blackdragon. Really funny.
You're all saying that VC is superior to WiiWare/DSiWare, when in fact, there are amazing and crappy games on all services. Is there some justification in this? If so, show me please.
Foul language that no one wants to read, and that should be censored.
Your language is atrocious, and that's a large factor in the opinions people form of you.
For the most part lots of people prefer the VC. Also as far as DSi and Wiiware go, many games aren't full games, lots of games are small little diversions, without much in the way of specific goals to be achieved.
Also with the VC people are hoping for old classics to be released, as such they can safely have high expectations as the games have already proven their worth, with Wiiware you usually can't tell how it'll end up being.
Because more people prefer VC to WiiWare and DSiWare. Don't believe me? Look at the sales. Since a lot of people already have played the games that are on VC, they have Nostalgic value for it and buy it based on that. We don't have any for WiiWare and DSiWare. Until recently, we had to read reviews to see if we wanted the game or not, and not play and experience the games for ourselves. As soon as the Demos came out for WiiWare, they sales went up. VC sales base off of if people have played it or not in the past. WiiWare now has Demos. (Thankfully). As for DSiWare, I'm pretty sure people want GAMES on there. Not Calculators, Calenders, ect. That's why no one cares for that.
Wii have no expectations for WiiWare games. Lots of them come out all the time and lots of it is shovelware. The rest is somewhere between mediocre and great, but always short. There are games on the VC, however, such as Ys Book I & II, Neutopia, or Zelda II that are fantastic, and a huge time sink as well.
Also I think a lot of us want to see our old favorites get new-found exposure, in the hopes that many more people can enjoy them, and that perhaps we will see some more new games that return to a retro gameplay style (enter: Mega Man 9, Boy and His Blob).
Basically, we have all these games that are previously released that we know are great, but they have not appeared on the Virtual Console, and for that we are disappointed. But we don't have any idea what great games will be on wiiware, so we don't mind if we don't get mystery updates.

You prefer VC games because the sales are higher?

That's understandable, especially considering that a large number of this site's users are above the age of 20, and have nostalgic value for the 8-bit/16-bit era.

Inorite?

Take a thorough look around the DSi Shop sometime. There are plently of actual games.
As for the "WiiWare/DSiWare games are too short" argument, quality over quantity. That's all I have too say.
However, the Wares were out for more than a year, while the Virtual Console games span at least a decade, giving the Virtual Console games more time to develop better games.
