So it took forever but yesterday I finally found a Wii that played my dual layer Xenoblade Chronicles and Game Cube games- as well as regular Wii games. I finished testing the Wii then came the decision wether to update the Wii to current version. I am afraid because right now it works , but if I update it may stop playing Xenoblade or something (like my previous Wii did). I am also afraid that if I fail to update I will be missing out on improved graphics or smooth gameplay or something else. Can anyone tell me pros and cons of system updating the Wii ? I have all the mainstream consoles I.e.: Switch, Wii U. Xbox One, PS2, Ps3, Ps4, etc... but I love some horror games only available on Wii and Game Cube, : like The Calling, Fragile Dreams, Eternal Darkness and others. That’s why it’s so important I have an optimal functioning Wii.
