Topic: The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces discussion thread

Well, I couldn't find a topic for this game, so I thought, why not make my first thread ever? About the game, it looks pretty cool, top that off with a $30 price tag and you got my money. Since I got some spare moola, come Tuesday(or sometime next week) I will most likely be picking it up.

I pre-ordered it; given the pedigree of the development team and quality of the video I've seen it seemed like a safe bet.

Destructoid and IGN both gave it an 8 out of 10. To date I think that is the highest a flight game has been rated since the Wii has been released.

I read the IGN review, and it was a pretty fair and decent review. I have not read the Destructoid one though, maybe I'll check it out.

This is a day one purchase for me. I have a Best Buy rewards certificate for $15 off my next purchase so I'll be getting this game on Tuesday for cheap! Can't wait!

I got the game yesterday, but today is when I finally was able to assess and play the game for longer. Yesterday when I played it I initially hadn't really liked it because I felt the controls weren't as tight as I'd have liked. But then I played a mission where you go on recon piloting a beast(by beast I mean big and slow) of a plane, and since then piloting the other planes has been great. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys the genre, it is definitely the best flier on Wii.
