Rhythm Heaven Mario Party 9 Xenoblade Chronicles Lego Batman 2 Epic Mickey 2 The Amazing Spiderman Combat Wings El Chavo Karaoke Joysound Men In Black Skylanders Giants The Last Story
All of these have or will be coming out in 2012, plus any of the games that we haven't heard of yet. We may not be getting a Mario or Zelda (well technically we already did this year) but who knows what Nintendo has yet to announce. I know that its a forgone conclusion that the Wii is in the process of being phased out, but its definately NOT dead quite yet.

The xbox and PS3 are still the main focus in their companies. Nintendo is shifting from Wii to Wii U and DS to 3DS so of course the amount of games wont be as much. I expect the same thing from Xbox and PS3 once the next ones are coming out..
The Wii games that have already come out this year and will come out this year (in Europe) that I intend on getting are The last story, Mario party 9, Bit. trip complete, Pandora's tower and if it ever does get released Rodea the sky soldier. @XplicitProdigy Welcome to NL!
im in the us but im surprised nobody is mentioning fatal frame 4 that is a huge title to go out on, i will definitely be importing that along with pandoras tower

Fatal fram IV is Japan only but Fatal frame II: Wii edition is out in Europe on 29th June.
Just beat Skyward Sword and am playing Xenoblade and Skylanders. Definatly going to buy Epic Mickey, Lego Batman 2 & LOTR & The Hobbit, Skylanders Giants and Mario Party 9, maybe the other two JRPGs also. Looking forward to Transformers Cybertron 2 along with a few others, still plenty of life in my book.
don't care if general opinion is that wii is dead. To me it's alive and kicking, It took AGES before they stopped making games for PS2. Wii U is gonna be way to expensive when it's released.
You guys should read into product life cycles,, and how marketeers start screwing you over long before the product is satisfied in order to gain brainpositions.
i`ve had no new retail games for my wii since goldeneye in 2010. even the few downloads i`ve had in that time barely get played. tbh, the only thing that`s really getting the most play time is my 3DS and i`ve been dissapointed in the quality of some of the games i`ve played so far.
just wait a bit longer ....a console/handheld always needs time to start up a bit.
Like Fonist I'm also in Europe so the first half of 2012 has been pretty busy: Last Story, Bit.Trip Complete, Pandora's Tower, Rhythm Heaven. I just started Last Story, so I don't think I'm going to be feeling much of a drought before Wii-U; in fact I'll welcome a break to start saving for the new machine!
My PS3 technically died 3 times and the Wii has been still chugging along with no issues since launch but seriously the Wii U will sit next to me Wii just fine all I have to do is move the dusty old PS2 to make space.
Besides for Xenoblade and Last Story, there's nothing exclusive for Wii this year. the Mario Party games are at the bottom pit as far as Mario games go, and were at number 9 (the only case of "milking to death" I've seen from Nintendo)! Rhythm Heaven might be somewhat fun, but I simply don't see it as a big seller. Everything else is multiplatform, and besides for Epic Mickey 2, it's all licensed crap and shovelware (yes, that includes Skylanders). This of course is my humble opinion, but I think most will agree on the majority of my statements.
Oh, I guess there's the Kirby compilation as well. That'll probably be better than everything except Xenoblade and Last Story (maybe Mickey as well).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)

I'll probablt get Projext zero II: Wii edition as well and maybe Rhythm paradise fever. Just to clarify, I won't be getting all these this year but they're all games that came out/are coming out this year for the Wii that I intend on getting.

Perhaps, but your statement isn't an indicator that the platform is dead. If the Kirby Compilation proves to be the last published title online or offline then I suppose that will be true, but I suspect we'll continue to see software released on it for some time to come.
Whether it's marketed at "real gamers" is another question, but the fact that Wii-U will play Wii games and support Wii controllers means that any 3rd parties which are uncertain about getting a new dev kit can continue to release Wii software knowing there's a market out there for it.
So far this year it's just been The Last Story and Pandora's Tower for me. And there's nothing more coming out that I want that I know of. Sounds like it's on its last legs to me, but I'm completely fine with that because I still have heaps of games that I need to play, plus the 3DS is flying along and the Wii U will be out by the end of the year. Less Wii games means more money that I can save up for that.
The rumors have been going on pretty much since it was released, year after year. It's gonna probably sell a bit for the casual market even after the Wii U.
