I don't like the Sonic Gems version of Sonic CD. It doesn't emulate the original Sega CD version, and it's a port of the PC version. I find the Sega CD version to be superior.

Sonic Gems is rubbish - it has the US soundtrack! Along with it being a port of the PC version, UK gamers got a very different version of Sonic CD to the one that was originally released on the Mega CD. No nostalgia here. Only option is to import the Japanese Sonic Gems like I did - but even then I'd prefer it if I could just easily access the original game from the VC channels.

They probly won't make it for the VC because Japan hasent even got it yet. (I think)

I kinda like the US soundtrack. Pretty original. Still, I prefer the Japanese/UK soundtrack.

And hey, don't totally count out any CD games on the Virtual Console outside Japan: We're getting Ironclad soon, and Castlevania Rondo of Blood, and I don't doubt Ai Cho Aniki's soon to follow suit after the release of Cho Aniki.

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

There are a lot of really great Sega CD games that would be great to have. Look past the FMV games folks, there's some great stuff to be found.
