Topic: SD-Card menu.

This is probably a really stupid question, but I have 20 pages on my SD-card menu, I was to get a bigger SD card would I have more pages?

I've heard from somewhere that no matter how big your SD card is, you'll only have 20 pages.

It's not a stupid question, but I also think the answer is that no matter how big the card is, you will only have 20 pages.

Yep, I think someone did some calculations and based upon the WiiWare/VC game size limits you will run out of pages before you get close to filling anything more than an 8GB SD card. The only reason for having a bigger one presently is if you have a game like Rock Band which can download tracks directly to SD (though I don't know if it can address SDHC cards) or put photos on it for use with the Wii Speak or Photo Channels, or to backup your game save data.

I only have a 4GB card in my PAL Wii and a 2GB card in my Japanese Wii; I expect as my collection grows I'll get a bigger card, though I cannot say I'm looking foward to re-downloading everything or copying stuff back-and-forth from SD-Wii-SD again!

I have an 8GB card. I'm going to be filling up those twenty pages a lot sooner than I fill up my SD card. Although I am nowhere near close to filling up those twenty pages, I do hope Nintendo expands to a larger amount of pages at sometime.

I think I'll be using the same card for my 3DS next year and just switch the card between the Wii and 3DS when necessary.
