This may have been covered before, but I just realized I've never played Rocket Knight Adventures for the Genesis/Mega Drive. How did this happen? Dunno. But I stumbled upon some footage on youtube, and man, it looks like a lot of fun. How is this not on VC? Anyone heard anything about the possibility? Thank you.
There's a new Rocket Knight game coming to the PSN, Xbox Live, and PC but I have heard nothing about the three old games (Sparkster, Sparkster: Rocket Knight Adventures 2, and Rocket Knight Adventures) getting released on the VC or any other downloadable service.
Rocket Night Adventures is sweet, I got it on my Genesis, the music is awesome too, one of the best sounding Genesis soundtracks out there. I'd be a good idea to release it on VC.
Seeing that they're making the new one, I wouldn't be surprised if the older games got released as well as a way of promoting the new game.
That would be nice, but if Bionic Commando is any indication, Nintendo wouldn't let Konami do that since the new Rocket Knight game is probably not coming to Wii.
@Terra: Not to get off-topic, but if that's the reason why Bionic Commando is most likely not coming to the VC, then I call BS. There has been mentions of Nazi's in Indiana Jones Greatest Adventures and that game is licensed. Not to mention on the Virtual Console as well.
