SandMan

I have a spare 1000 Nintendo Points on my Wii and cannot decide what to purchase. (I might be willing to gift.) Any suggestions?

My Current Games:
Alien Crush Returns
Toki Tori
Block Breaker Deluxe
Onslaught
Maboshi's Arcade
Niki Rock 'n' Ball
Gyrostarr
My Pokemon Ranch
Defend Your Castle
World of Goo
Pokemon Rumble
Kirby 64
Super Mario 64
Pokemon Snap
Kirby's Adventure
Super Mario Brothers 3
Sonic 2
Psychosis

(Wow, that's longer than I thought it would be...)

Perchance you didn't notice Castlevania came out today.

I would recommend Castlevania The Adventure ReBirth, NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits or Lost Winds 2. You should also try Rubik's Puzzle Galaxy: Rush if you enjoyed Toki Tori. However, that game is 600 points and would leave you with 400 points to spare.

This is the first time (well, second now) I have ever posted in the forums. This will most likely be my last.

Oh, and use the Universal Recommendations thread or the WiiWare Recommendations thread once this topic gets locked in the morning. Cheers.
EDIT: It seems I forgot about the Virtual Console Recommendations thread, doh.

Go to the above links if you need recommendations

Hey Sandman, welcome to the Nintendo Life forums and sorry about the less-than-friendly reception you got here. Feel free to ask any questions and I'm sure our friendly and considerate members will either answer them or point you in the right direction. Those who don't - well, leave them to me

Whoa, man, calm yourself. No one's trying to be unwelcoming. Some people just don't like to see a bunch of the same threads open at the same time, and we have had an awful lot of these types of threads. If you stick around I think you'll find NL is a very welcoming place, with very low tolerance to idiots and trolls

As far as recommendations go, I have to recommend my favorite game, Ocarina of Time.

You have to understand, SandMan...we get these duplicate recommendation threads a LOT around here. People stop paying attention to who's posting them and just get annoyed. It's an understandable mistoke though, so please don't leave the site just because of that! As Prosody said, welcome! Really!

As for a suggestion, what about the sublime Actraiser? That is, if you don't mind having an odd 200 points left over.

My Backloggery Updated sporadically. Got my important online ID's on there, anyway. :P

I hope that you decide to stick around SandMan. We will be more than happy to help you with any recommendations if you need them. If you have any questions just feel free to ask.

Aw, man, I didn't know you were new, SandMan! Sorry, I (wrongly) expected you were aware of how things were run around here and just wanted your own personal recommendations thread for more attention. My apologies, and I hope we didn't scare you off already; you haven't even met Feenie yet.

@Odnetnin if you wanted someone to fell welcomed and to not be disturbed, why exactly would you introduce them to Feenie?
Welcome, sand man! When I was new, I did the exact same thing with a reccomendation thread. It's nothing to worry about.

Just let it happen.
