Topic: Problem with Gamecube controller

I was just playing Paper Mario using the Gamecube controller, and whenever I pressed down on the C-stick, it would bring up the status bar. According to the manual, the status bar is supposed to come down when you press up on the C-stick (right stick on the Classic Controller). It works fine with the CC.

Hmm, I don't remember having any trouble with the C-stick. Did you try resetting your Gamecube controller?

I never had prblem with the c-stick, for me it was the analog stick

sorry. no. all my problems were with either sticky shoulder buttons, or the analogue stick.

The only problem I ever had with the GC controller was it wasn't the N64 controller.

yeah. as you should know, if a directional stick is held in one direction when the game starts, that is considered the neutral position which can screw up the controls of the game you are playing.
