I can't believe it. For a while it really looked like it wasn't going to come. Oh man.

This is amazing news. I jumped for joy.

One of the the reasons why I'm still excited for the VC, right here. I can't wait to play it on my own TV!

Just had a thought. Would they translate the voice acting (Japanese and some German) into English, or put English subtitles in the game for those that can't understand either?

I hope they actually leave the original voice acting intact with subtitles. Not trying to come off as a purist (I honestly prefer English in pretty much everything I watch/play), but the Japanese voices are really excellent and add to the game's atmosphere, especially the opening's grave-sounding German voice. The replacement in the PSP version just didn't do as good a job.

I think the Japanese voice acting will suffice, imo.
Although, they could add English subtitles.

Like every other Japanese VC game, it will be released in it's original form. No text translations, no added subtitles and definitely no dub. Why to people seem to think this is a problem anyway, when several other dialogue-heavy games have been released in Japanese already? It's Castlevania, you don't need to understand what people are saying to know you have to go right and kill things.

(also, silly Americans thinking being a purist is a bad thing)

And I agree with Adamant, there is no problem. At least, I don't have a problem. Star Parodier, Detana! TwinBee, and DoReMi Fantasy: Milon's DokiDoki Adventure are very awesome games, and I don't mind the unchanged status.

I'll clue everyone in on the Japanese text . The story deals with Dracula.

Some people did translate all the game's dialogue somewhere in the web... even in the Castlevania Dungeon website.

I never said purism was a bad thing, I was just implying that I am not such. No negativity intended. :/

I will say that subtitles aren't necessary for this game's cutscenes since the context can be understood easily enough. Woman - "You saved me!" Richter/Maria - "Yep, I saved you." for most of the cutscenes really. Subtitles would still be a nice addition, though.

Ah, it doesn't matter anyway. It's just a small thing and there's no need to drag it out. Understanding the context of posts on the internet is a lot harder than conversation in real life, for sure.

Thank G-d it finally got a rating somewhere. I just hope Bloodlines isn't far behind.

I've been thinking about how this was rated before ReBirth was even released in Europe. Usually when a Castlevania title is rated it releases a few months after, so I wonder (and hope ) that its release shouldn't be that far away from Rebirth's.

...yeah, I fear it may not come until Halloween of next year, but I hope not. This game's rating really sparked my interest in the VC after such a long time.
