You guys have probably heard of this by now from other sites, but IGN is teasing an A-level Nintendo game that is being kept under wraps for the time being. A little shady, but Matt C. hasn't been wrong many times, and wouldn't blatantly lie about seeing a title like this that has him excited. Read about it here:
That one little bit of info made listening to 'the worst ign podcast ever' not a total waste of time. I hope it's good whatever it is (F-Zero, 1080, Waverace or Starfox please), and I hope Nintendo announce it soon. Why should the over-payed gimps at IGN know about it, when we don't! No fair!!!
IGN has being shouting about a Kid Icarus game that NINTENDO NEVER ANNOUNCED, NEVER HINTED AND NEVER PROMISED just to keep the wii hate alive. So excuse me if I don't trust them.

I know what you mean, that Kid Icarus thing really got me way back when, but nothing ever came of it. Also those IGN folks seem to be really...I dunno... pretentious sometimes, I can see why one might not trust them. But the podcast does sound very genuine, they know of a game that took them by surprise, and it's not a throwaway title. What could it be?
The Clues: If the game is going to be released before 2010, then it's probably a WiiWare/DSiWare game. It seems that IGN has only gotten to play this mystery game, so it could possibly be a Way Forward game (the game company that Matt Bozon works at besides IGN) Matt Bozon was not on the podcast. This might have been because Nintendo didn't want him to spill the beans on the game They don't talk about it much or seem REALLY excited for it, so it might be a game that is already part of a series that is currently alive in Nintendo's cast

Kirby WiiWare/DSiWare Pokemon Wiiware/DSiWare (unlikely because of Pokemon Rumble) Drill Dozer WiiWare/DSiWare Metroid WiiWare/DSiWare (to combat Shadow Complex?)
Those are my guesses and my info tips I dug up, guys. Have fun speculating!

Yes, sure, that must be it. The IGN Wii team lies to us because they hate the Wii.
Forget that fact that a number of other sites ran with the Kid Icarus thing. Forget the fact that it was actually shown to them but development was halted. No no, the most obvious explanation is that IGN is a game disinformation website.
To whom was the game shown, IGN? I've never heard this. The idea of IGN intentionally spreading disinformation is silly, but they do seem just unprofessional enough to unintentionally pass off rumors as facts. They do tend to always make whatever speculation they've heard from the most unreliable sources sound like something Reggie whispered in bed.
The return of Star Fox (Whether as a Command sequel with better Wi-Fi on DSiWare or as a fully fledged Wii title which puts Fox and the team where they belong: in those Arwings beating Andross' forces!
Kirby Wii (more like Kirby Forever, Kirby DSiWare could own... But very unlikely)
Kid Icarus (Pit was in SSBB so....)
A new WiiWare/DSiWare title.
Project H.A.M.M.E.R. (Though this was apparently cancelled, I still wish it saw the light of day...)
Whatever franchise that gets "The Last Story" - (Could be the end of one franchise or the start of another...)
