I was one of the People who got a refund on Ninja 3 and weirdly I found I could still download it through my shop history, even after it was removed from the listings. Not that I'd want to as it was broken.
Re: GnG, sounds like Capcom might have their own policy on this matter, as Bass suggests.
My guess is that Capcom wanted to ensure people would go for the more expensive arcade version and not have the option of choosing the cheaper NES port. Some of the other arcade games that are on the service still have their cheaper home ports up(Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Solomon's Key), which leads me to believe Capcom is the main one behind this.
I don't get it. Capcom has a hundred different versions of Street Fighter II......yet, they don't want 2 versions of Ghosts n Goblins? Pardon me while I LOL.

Well, all the Genesis and SNES versions of SFII are 800 points, which means Capcom still gets the same amount, regardless of which version is downloaded. The only one that's cheaper in the PC-Engine Port of Street Fighter II: Championship Edition and that's 700 points, only a 100 point difference.
Most likely, Capcom figures the 300 point difference is too much, so they took the NES port off the service. In the end, this means that if you want Ghosts and Goblins on the VC, you have to pay 800 points for either the arcade, SNES or Genesis entries of the series.
Still, I don't agree with what Capcom did. Sega has both the arcade and Genesis versions of Altered Beast and Golden Axe up and Tecmo still has the NES port of Solomon's Key up even though the Arcade version has been on the service for over a year.
So, why is Capcom the only one who's doing this? They should let the consumer have the option of either having the cheaper port, or the original Arcade version that boasts better graphics and sound. I'm pretty sure the arcade version would have sold well, even of the NES port stayed on the service.
Hmm that is weird. I just checked myself and couldn't find the Nes version either. Oh well the game sucks anyway. Everyone should know super ghouls and Ghosts on Snes is the only one worth having anyhow. No big loss if the Nes version really is gone.
According to you but for the people that paid for it or liked it, it is.
Yeah but the Nes version is an inferior port. Are you guys really going to miss it that much? The games are identical. If you paid for it then yes you should get a refund but I don't see this as a huge loss. I hated this game back then and I'm not too fond of it now either. It's already insanely difficult and you have to play through it twice and even harder to see the real ending.

This is good for people who already downloaded and kept it. They have the game and also can get the refund. Ghosts'n Goblins for free. It's kind of nice from Nintendo.
