I've done my bit ages ago without response. I think most people will agree that Tecmo's Wii line-up outside of excellent arcade ports has been less-than-impressive.

What they need to do is leverage a classic property from the Playstation and GBA and bring out a Monster Rancher title for the Wii.

Please show your support by bombarding info@tecmo... with your requests and make it happen!

I remember the Monster Rancher show. I thought it was terrible mainly because of the horrible voice-overs (especially the Giant Eye thing).

They'd do the same thing they did with the GBA. You have to enter a string of characters, and based on that, you'd get your monster.

Consider it done. I love the Monster Rancher series. Just found a copy of MR2 for the GBA ... now if I can find someone with a manual who is willing to scan it for me.

Currently playing: Gunstar Super Heroes (GBA), Infinite Space (NDS)

Yeah, the discs aren't a problem; no reason they couldn't do a data scan of game discs. Incidentally just because the Wii doesn't do playback of CD/DVD doesn't mean the track listing couldn't be read by the Wii for the purposes of using it as a data seed. Clearly that kind of playback is only limited by the lack of software in the Wii and not the firmware of the drive, i.e., the drive can still read those media formats; there's just no playback software to play the content on them.
