Topic: Modern Warfare: Reflex Video

@slapshot82 You can play with random people all you do is get online. I have World at War and no friend codes and I have been playing roughly 70 hours online over the last year. It automatically matches you with players or you can play private matches with your friends if you have friend codes. Modern Warfare is supposed to have the same setup.

@slapdude: Well that's where our opinions differ, you think the package is incomplete with out shiny bits, I think the package is improved with sexy customizable IR control. Moral of the story... we won't agree, no matter what.

As for the friend code malarkey, is that confirmed? Because if so, that could be a deal breaker, I'd look now but can't be arsed, so again, I will wait for reviews.

@Machu I have been playing World at War all day and I am ready to sink my teeth into Modern Warfare.
@anyone if you want to read up more on the features of the new Modern Warfare Reflex Amazon has updated the product features today or sometime yesterday but for some reason they posted the beta screenshots.

@DHD.... Honestly I didnt even know WaW was released on Wii. I played CoD 3 and honesly I dont think it even had online at all. Good to hear they finally got around the friend codes. That was the reason I sold my Wii, I was tired of being restriced like a little kid and Im a grown man.

@Machu..... Im curious to see a review myself to see if all the components of the single player game are going to be available on the Wii. The last game I bought for my Wii was The Force Unleashed, and the single player game was a stripped down version of the HD games, wich horrid graphics and character animations, but great motion controls. I was ticked off royally. I havent read much about either versions of the game to be honest, Ill be playin my Uncharted 2 online for months before I pick MW2 up

@DHD: The big question then... will it support Wii-Speak? Or was that dropped?

@Machu.... Im sure it will, If they got around friend codes I dont see why it shouldn't. Heck I wouldnt have it hooked up though, even my wife would get mad hearing all the cussing blaring thru the house

@Machu From everything I have read there is no Wii Speak as it was dropped and many sites like IGN and Gamespot reported this in late August. At first it was slated to have it but it was further knocked off.

Yup, Wii-speak is great, but, it sucks when someone else is in the room or in ear-shot.

I imagine they will go The Conduit route, and limit Wii-speak to just friends. Safer that way, then all the kiddies don't get subjected to Machu's colourful English.

There is no Wii Speak. Unless they took the Nintendo route and denied that aspect of the game. Also included is host migration to where if the host leaves the game you can actually finish the game instead of being taken back to menus like World at War did.

As Treyarch stated up front at a Gamescom 2009 hands-off demo session, the Wii version of Modern Warfare will include all the features of the online features of the other versions. That means the entire leveling system, all the perks and unlocks, and everything else that helps make Modern Warfare such an addictive online experience. While World at War on Wii only supported up to eight players at a time, Modern Warfare will feature support for 10. This comes at a cost, unfortunately, as Wii Speak will not be supported. The game will also not use Wii MotionPlus.

Just found this thread as I marked it as "Watch"....... Im sure you guys have been playin it for awhile and what do you guys think of it. The reviews are Awesome! If I ever do get my hands on another wii permantly I will invest in it. I bought the PS3 version of the game and its incredible as well.
