Yeah, I've never understood why that is when the Wii is more powerful than the gamecube, but still, for a Wii shooter I think this does a good job.

What about Metroid Prime? The only reason I can understand is (of course) porting issues.

Oh, well I didn't mean all of them. Just, in general. Yeah, Metroid looks great. I can't wait to see how Other M will be.

The reason that the graphics don't look as great as Corruption is because there is a lot more game on the disc than Corruption. The Wii has limitation, everyone knows this, and Nintendo has stated it many times. You want a shooter with a good single player and great online component on the Wii, you are going to have to sacrifice somewhere. The Wii just cant run it. Even here at NL they posted a main page article recently about Infinity Wards not being happy with the limitations of the Wii. If you guys want the Call of Duty experience you need a HD system, if you dont want to upgrade then you will have to be happy with what you can get. Im sure the online will be great but with the Wii you cant get the best of both worlds. You dont see a Chevy Van outrunning a Chevy Corvette, its not possible. Its the same difference. One is for the family and one if for the thrills.

@Slapshot: You what? Are you trying to say that this game is not going to fun?

I don't want the frakking Call of Duty experience as you call it, that involves using two analogues, which is old. I want the IR aiming experience. You are starting to sound like a bit of a HD snob. Please do tell me if you think I am wrong in that assessment.

@Machu.... actually CoD 3 is one of my fav games on the system, because of the IR aiming experience. I was stating that if people want to complain about the graphics on the Wii version not being as good as Corruption its because of the fact the Iffinity Ward pushed the game to the max with everything they put into it, the Wii cant do everything. And Im no HD snob, but the fact of the matter is that too me there is no way I would every buy the Wii version over the PS3 version, no way at all, especially with the friend code deal. That makes me a HD snob..... then I guess so be it. To me these type of games do not suite Nintendo consoles very well.

OK fella, each to their own. I'll take IR over HD any day, and you'd rather get the 'full' experience. I still think it's wrong to compare the two versions based on graphics alone. Graphics you get used to, and the effect wears off, where-as (I'm hoping) the Wii version will increase the speed and fluidity of play. I'll admit I'm a graphics whore (on my PC) and a HD snob (for TV & movies), but for games... gameplay, gameplay, gameplay. That's why I have a Wii, because it does something new and different.

We're both speculating here, so lets wait and see what how the reviews/feedback turn out. And I'm not talking about reviews from multi-format sites, as we know how they'll go... "5h1t graphics, blah, blah, blah".

Explain Prime Trilogy then. The thing is that they did not try. A good devoloper needs to work with their limitations. Retro pulled off a 80 hour game that looks stunning. Infinity Ward just doesn't want to try, so they make up excuses and blame the wii.

@Machu.... My biggest concern would be the online part. Not being able to play with random people would really limit the online part. That is the biggest no sale for me. And the price. $50 for a stripped down version or ten bucks more for the full experience. Not to mention, I would find out if the will release the map pack add-ons for the Wii as well.

@WhoKnew..... I agree with you. Of course Nintendo is going to get the ultimate best out of their own console as its the only system the game will be sold on. If you were Infinity Ward and developing Call of Duty, would you spend the money and time to try to get the max out of a limited system or put that time and money into the systems with few limits. Not to mention that the shooters have not sold well at all on the Wii. Hardcore titles barely move on the system. I doubt that even if they did push it to the limits it still wouldn't have mind blowing results simply because a lot of gamers will buy it on the HD systems.
