I can't find GX, so I'll just get F-Zero X along with Super Metroid.

Can't wait til Mega Man 7 comes out. Then once I get WarioLand Shake It I'll have every franchise.

the franchise I missed out on as a kid was Punch-out. Boy, was I glad I rectified that!

If you missed out on Zelda, StarFox, the entire library of console games can now be played on Wii. Oh joy of joys!

F-Zero X. For $10 you get 24 courses, plenty of vehicles and more. I like F-Zero GX, but it's insane difficulty is a big turnoff for me.

WRONG! In F-Zero X you get unlimited courses! The X-Cup you can unlock always generates random courses!

F-Zero X is much better than F-Zero in many ways.

  • 30 different drivers and machines instead of only 4.
  • unlimited tracks instead of only 4 cups.
  • 4 player splitscreen instead of one player only.
    to name the biggest enhancements.

Super Metroid is basically one of the best games of all times. It's great and got me instantly hooked with the Metroid franchise. Be sure to get it.

And yeah, get the Metroid Prime Trilogy, when it's out. Nintendo compilations are very rare, so don't miss it.

I second that. Metroid Prime games (including Hunters) are must-haves, and so is SM.

I'm interested in getting Metroid and F-Zero games. Any recommendations?

Like some others here, I have a fondness for the original F-Zero. It's pretty dated, but there's just something special about it. It's still a blast to play. F-Zero X is excellent as well though. If you have enough points get both. As far as Metroid goes, Super Metroid is the way to go. It takes what the original game did and perfects it with the extra power of the SNES hardware. Even though they aren't on VC, the Metroid Prime games are a must as well. They're beautifully crafted and as perfect as 3D Metroid can be. Wait until the Metroid Prime Trilogy collection comes out. That way you can own all 3 for a good price.

The generated ones aren't really that great though.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!
