Mega Man X is one of those games that will either come or not. If Capcom wants to release it as soon as possible, it should arrive sometimes in 2010. If they want to wait until Mega Man 7 is out, then I don't really know if we'll see it.
That Hori controller is fantastic, good look finding one though. I've seen a couple of Indigo Hori Controllers on Ebay for $50. On Amazon they have the black(which is what I'd wan't) Hori Controllers for over $100...eek. But If you want a more affordable solution, you can just get a SNES Retro Port Adapter, which works on your Wii or Gamecube.
And you can use your own SNES Controller I have one and it works perfectly, too bad my SNES Controllers D-pad is alittle loose and squishy....I can`t stand it ;p I also actually had the MMX Collection for the GCN...but I cant remember if they swapped the A and B buttons. if they did, that alone is a deal breaker, just like how the MM Anniversary collection was for me....not to mention the sound for the MM Anniversary collection is very weird, it sounds echoey in ways and the SFX sound quiter and flat....bluh.
And of course we`ll see MMX on the VC...the question is WHEN. MM4 has yet to be released but it`s planned. then there`s 5,6 and 7....If there`s no button swap get the MMX Collection and a SNES retro port adapter, or get the Hori Pad.
I'd love the X series on the VC, the only one I have is X4, and it's fantastic. All the fun of the Zero series, but it's easy so it's super enjoyable even if you don't bring your A-game. (I prefer the Zero series to it just a little though)
