Topic: Mario Party 1,23 for Virtual Console

It has been a few years since VC came out so why hasn't these titles came out

I don't really know why. Maybe it's because they are busy working on brand new upcoming Wii titles...perhaps?

Really, the N64 hasn't gotten much support at all. Really quite a shame. Perhaps they realized the space limits and are keeping it on low-support until Wii2?

Maybe. But, oh, I'd hate it if they came out with a Wii2. I don't want to have to convert when my Wii is fine as it is. I hope Nintendo doesn't make a new Wii until they have to to keep up with competition.

I dunno. I guess they figure no one wants to play the first 3 games when all the others are out on Gamecube/Wii (or, perhaps, they don't want people to buy a cheaper game instead of the expensive newer games). I'd like to have them, though...

They released SSB, so why not Mario Party?

Although, the SSB series is a threesome, whereas the Mario Party series has eight games, four of which can already be played on the Wii.

Five of which can already be played on the Wii:

I was going to say that there were only 8 games, but then I remembered Advance and DS. Maybe you should have clarified.

Mario Party is Nintendo's most-hated series, I'm sure they figured that out now. That's why there is no Mario Party 9, and no VC Mario Parties.

Party games are crap.

The more topics I see concerning these games, the more upset I get.

@Destroyer360: Oh contraire. Not only are party games not crap, but the VC Mario Party's would generate a LOT of sales.

I think that I would start on VC for MP because iv never played any and I only see 4-7 for $20-$35
but i think $10 would be a deal.

Mario Party 23?! I didn't know 9 had even come out!

plus a second arcade game (thanks Super Mario Wiki), and Mario Party e, which I still have and was actually pretty good. So that's up to 13 now?
I personally think 2 and 3 have a better chance to make it than 1 because of the rotating thumbstick minigames in 1. Loved the duel mode in 3, even though I never got to buy it myself, and the costumes on the boards in 2

Just because something generates a lot of sales doesn't mean they are good. Take Wii Music for example. That game was terrible and it got a lot of sales nonetheless.

I'm not saying that. Two different points. I enjoy party games. Plus, Wii Music isn't even a party game so that's not the best of examples.
