Yep, I've had the misfortune of playing all the way through it. Oh, was it awful. You won't find it here on this site, as it focuses most on WiiWare, Virtual Console, and the bigger-name new Wii and DS releases, with a handful of retro reviews. Until it's released on VC and someone here has to review it, I doubt it'll make it's way here.

There can only be one, like in that foreign movie where there could only be one, and in the end there is only one dude left, because that was the point.

I played it all the way and enjoyed it... I must of had some pretty thick glasses of a rose tinted varity back in my youth....

I had an NES version, but never played it. Good thing I never did, imagine how awful it would be if I did.

The game gave me chest pains...and I was 8!!! It frustrated me and I thought it was an actual platformer so I was walking around like a dumbass with no idea what to do

my parents bought it for us kids back when we got our SNESes because it was 'educational'... I played it a few times out of curiosity, but I only went through the entire game to the end once because it was so godawful boring. D:

It was supposed to teach kids about Geometry. Ugh, it was awful...

and if you REALLY want to see a bad SNES game, look up Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures... XP

^ Geometry, huh? Sounds like you deserve to suffer through Mario is Missing, you aren't making a good case for yourself.

I think there was a reason why Mario was missing - he didn't want to star in that horrid game.

I have the MiM ROM, but I haven't played very much of it. If it's that bad, why isn't it as famous as Hotel Mario?

@14: I guess he said that because it teaches geography, not geometry.

I did rent this on the SNES once or twice but I didn't enjoy it that much. Its not a terrible game, its just not an exciting one.

Edgey, Gumshoe, Godot, Sissel, Larry, then Mia, Franziska, Maggie, Kay and Lynne.

I'm throwing my money at the screen but nothing happens!

It's because Hotel Mario has those hilariously bad cutscenes. Seriously, who doesn't love "You know what they say, all toasters toast toast!" (I know that quote isn't originally in the game, but it's hilarious.) Mario is Missing is just bad.
