Topic: Just Dance 3 impressions

Great fun I highly recommend this game to anyone that likes fun party games.

I just picked up a copy today, and I completely agree with you. It's so much fun to play. I was excited to see "Let's Go To The Mall" by Robin Sparkles included in the set list. I just hope Ubisoft is more consistent with DLC for JD3.

I played it ,and it confuses me. I can't get the gestures right.

I got it yesterday and its an absolute blast! I was at first disappointed with the final song list but I've come around on quite a few songs. The choreography is much improved from JD2 IMO and they've gotten a bit more creative this time around as well. I also love how slick it all is. The menus are very nice and there are close to no load times at all. I also love that certain presents become unlocked as you go. Many of them are great such as mash-ups of various avatars dancing to one main song or a "sweat" version of a song which is usually VERY tiring! The online store component is also quite seemlessly built in and even has a spot on the song list where it shows off more songs you can buy (for 250 points each). Overall this is the best that Just Dance has ever been and comes highly recommended. Its a very different thing from the borderline shovelware title that first started the series. I'm gonna say this because I don't get the chance very often, good job Ubisoft!

I'm yet to play a Just Dance game - I must admit, I'm not convinced.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it at someone's house or something!

No but I've always wondered why after 3 Just Dance games, there hasn't been one Lady Gaga song. Not even the obvious "Just Dance!" There simply must be some reason for this. My best guess is that Ubisoft for whatever reason cannot secure the rights to any of Gaga's songs. Its a shame too as I like some of her music (Don't think any less of me! )

And the main hits from The Fame/Fame Monster era have recognizable dance moves.

I'm rather surprised by this package, now I'm getting into it more. It has achievements (Well, in-game medals), unlockables, plenty of multiplayer modes.... It's never going to be a "core" game, but Ubi's done a really great job of making a game that has plenty of depth.

Oh, and I reckon the track list rocks. I was made for loving you, especially <_<.

One other thing. I'm really disappointed that the DLC from Just Dance 2 doesn't work on JD3. There better not be trying to make us pay for the same tracks twice.

Planning on getting it when it becomes cheaper. After Christmas some time, perhaps. I still play JD 2 regularly, and it still puts a smile on my face.

Ouch - that's a pretty bad oversight, or an evil thing to do (depending on how cynical you are). I'd go with the latter.

Wait, seriously? Now I need this game more than ever.

Yeah, I couldn't believe it either! It's probably my favorite song in the game, next to "Giddy On Up" anyway.

I just checked out the setlist, and I noticed "This is Halloween" is included, too. That just made my day.

amazing game! i still play it with my friends! i'm a huge fan of this 3rd part, and my favorite dance is "Hey Boy Hey Girl" The Chemical Brothers

Some of the medals are too confusing and I can't get all of them. Although it is a great game, I almost got 5 stars on all the songs.
