Topic: Just bought Twilight Princess (my first Zelda game)

I just got it yesterday and I'm already stuck. I'm at that part in the temple, where you got to throw that spider/bomb thing at the boulder ( I think that is what I gots to do). I can't ever get it over there without it blowing up first. Help me please!

Yes, you have to run as fast as you can and blow it up.

I think I know where you are. As RWP said, you have to run as fast as you can. Try this. Target the Spider-bomb so that Link will hold out his sheild, and let the bomb bounce off of your sheild once it attacks. This'll put it into "active-bomb" mode. Then pick it up and run over to the boulder and throw it up there.

Oh yeah, aren't those piranha plant things in that area annoying? I hate them.

Depends on where you are. There is a part where you have to grab the bomling, run quickly and throw it at the rock. There is also a part, later on in the temple, where you have to target a bomling, with the gale boomerang, then target the rock and it will fly into it.

There is also a part where you have to throw a bomling into a deku like (plant things as others call them), and one bomling is too far away to do it, but there is another closer.

If you are still stuck explain more specifically where you are.

This part is a drag. I remember having a ton of problems with it when I first played it. So how are you enjoying your first Zelda?

Its pretty AWESOME. And Konata yes, I did miss out on them all, and now I hate myself for it. Oh yea and I made it past there now, thnx for your help.

It's not too late! You can download some of those great Zelda's even now! This world offers a wealth of exploration, you can beat it with few hearts, or you can keep side questing with new items for full health.

Missing out on things isn't that bad. I never played the original Mario bros. 3 until... last year.

Congratz, I hope you liked it. And congratz on getting past that puzzle. It was a pretty tricky one, to be honest with you. Took me a while and I've played through damn near all the Zelda games by then.

You should have started with them, they make TP look like a piece of crap (except for Midna, she's awesome).
