Topic: Is Xenoblade worth $90?

I would say yes. Between my sister and I we've clocked in about 300 hours and the game is still fun. A masterpiece of a game.

If I may be the lone dissenting voice on this board, then no. I played for 30 hours over a period of three months and realized that I just couldn't give a care about what was going on in the storyline. Combine that with repetitive quests and a convoluted battle system with almost unworkable AI companions, and you have an RPG that's simply no fun for the likes of me. If you want a Wii RPG, get The Last Story or even Pandora's Tower.

That said, I'm still anticipating X in the hopes that it's a completely separate game from Xenoblade.

Xenoblade is a huge and awesome game, but I wouldn't pay Gamestop $90 just on principle, even if I hadn't bought it new. I know its less then its going for on-line, but Gamestop shouldn't be getting into the charging extra for rare games business.

Why not? Gamestop is a pawn shop for video games basically. What should stop them from doing this?

I think its worth 90, but you can find a legit copy (not this re-print bs) on ebay for like 65-80.

me nudges OP into a dark alley and says in a gravely voice "Hey man, I can burn yo-- I mean get you a copy for much cheaper than $90 if you know what I mean..."

If you like JRPGs then it's really worth it. I really liked the game. Takes a bit to get into for sure but at the end it turns so epic.

I didn't love the first 10 hours but after that it's just amazing.
