A reader wants to know whether current NBA star Mario Chalmers is available in NBA Live 09. None of us in the office have played it, so I thought I'd throw it open here. I've seen contrasting reports he may be in the game on other formats, but a Wii clarification would be great.
After resisting the temptation to say, "No, but Luigi Chalmers is playable," I decided to attempt to research this.
I do not have a definitive answer, not having played it myself. He is not a starter for the Miami Heat in the game, but I did find one question asking about him not being included, and if the answer was truthful then he and other rookies may be unlockable.
Again, I don't know for sure, that's just what I got from a little internet research.
