I was on the fence yesterday, and what do i do when im on the fence - I BUY IT AND SEE IF I MADE A GOOD INVESTMENT (not a recommended strategy....sigh [looks at wiiware/vc games that weren't worth buying...all 8 of them]).
In this case tho, i really like water warfare, its a HFPS, a humorous first person shooter/soaker which is good for both casual and hardcore (there are rankings online, yet if you don't care, u can just squirt for fun). However, if hudson didnt have that no kill human rule and had made an fps with real guns (like onslaught) that also had deathmatches, id rather get something like that.

When you get off that fence you better be on the side that has Water Warfare. I still play it almost every day, and I've had it since the day after it came out.
Is Water Warfare only worth it if you are only going to do online play?
I'd say it's worth getting anyway. There are 40 missions to play in single player and you can also have various death matches/Battle Royals and Capture the Flag events without having to go online. The online experience just enhances what is already a gem of a game
Btw, on each of the 40 missions (depending on the time you finish the mission) you will be ranked with either gold, silver or bronze medals, so there's plenty of replay value there if you're a completist at heart
On top of this there is a split-screen 2-player mode if you have a friend to play against/with.
No you can't but even still, the game's great and at such a reasonable price too. You really can't go wrong at all and there's little chance you'll be disappointed with it, if you ask me.

Well, I'm not really one for FPS. I played some of the Conduit online, and didn't have much fun. But I did enjoy World at War online. Do you think I'd still enjoy it?
I dunno. Hard to say. Would help if you could maybe explain why you enjoyed one and didn't have fun with the other. Then I could tell offer some advice.
is Water Warfare a lot like Onslaught in the way it controls? Because I didn't like Onslaught that much. In fact, I deleted it because I couldn't stand the controls. It was just too clunky trying to move around, especially strafing. The game itself wasn't bad, but just moving around got annoying after a while.

Wel,, with the Conduit, I could never really tell when I hit someone, but with WaW, there was this nice little "thuck" sound. Plus I liked the levels better. Are the levels fun in Water Warfare?
