Topic: Hyper Fighting 10 Stars with the classic controller

Hi Guys - (Happy bank holiday if you're in the UK!)
I'm possibly being very, very thick but....
Does anyone know the button combination to get the extra stars in Street Fighter 2 Hyper Fighting SNES? I have combed the internet but can only find the combination for the SNES controller.
"It's the same!" I hear you say, but I can't seem to get it to work (and a couple of times even managed to turn of the special moves....very useful).
Are the buttons on the SNES controller laid out exactly the same as the classic controller?

Sounds like you are doing it at the wrong time and with the wrong pad. You have to do the Dn R Up L Y B on control pad 2 as TURBO is scrolling across the screen.

edit: and yes the classic controller button layout matches the SNES pad.

But I only have one classic controller.. - If I plug the CC into the 2nd wiimote would that register the CC as the 2nd remote? Or I suppose I could plug a Gamecube controller into the 1st port?

Yeah plugging into the second wiimote will register it as the second pad (just make sure it's on) or you could input the code using the GC pad in port 2- not really suited for SNES games but the buttons are the same so it'll do for inputting the code.

I never did like ten star speed. It was way too fast to play the game properly. sure, it showed off what the snes was capable of but gameplay wise, it just wasn't worth bothering with.

Totally agree with you Bass X0. My one friend loved to play it with the ten star speed and every time we would get in an argument cause I wouldnt play it like that. It just wasnt any fun.
