It would have been listed there as the next game if Faxanadu was to be released during November. So presumably it got delayed.
Our December games would fall on the 17th and 31st assuming we don't get a Christmas release on the 24th. I'm guessing those games would be Faxanadu, Super Bonk or Mario Party 2.
i'd say rather no. already back then at its release it was considered as a rather mediocre (though above average, for sure) beat'em up. but given the genre-competition on the neogeo, it didn't stand out particularly.
We might still get something on 31st December. Magical drop II and Karnov's revege were confirmed for 3rd December before Faxanadu was confirmed for 26th Novemeber.
i have to admit, i haven't heard anything of this game before. does it run under a different (maybe more well-known) name as well? sort of reminds me of burai fighter.

We're getting the American version of the game not the European version we originally got. This annoys me a little since we're paying 100 points for no reason. Its not as if S.C.A.T. is a well known name or anything.

Action in New York has the World Trade Centers on the title screen. For some reason its bad taste to show them standing even from a time long before the attack.
I also read that the gang in Rival Turf! was called Ground Zero and that had to be changed to Guilty Zero for the same reasons.

Although we are reaching a time where they are releasing VC games faster than new games are being rated. America has several games to catch up on so they're fine for the time being. But us, we're either going to finally get some games that have been on the coming soon list for years or we'll get imports that America got years ago.
