Another gem that many people missed: Dawn of Discovery (called ANNO: Create a New World for the European release). The best part about this game is that it's currently selling in Canada for $15 at HMV. I can only assume it's marked down similarly in other regions. An absolute steal of a price for this unique and interesting strategy game. Be careful though - it's easy to get carried away when playing and not take a break for hours at a time.
I picked up Pikmin NPC from amazon.co.uk for £10 and had a very nice 10 hour play-through. It's a high quality game and the Wii controls make it so much more pleasent to play imo. I highly recommend it to those who never gave it a try on GC and even those who did. To get such Nintendo goodness for so cheap is great, and the graphics and sound stand up to today's standards.
a couple of months ago my local walmart was selling lots of their overstocked console games for 5 to 10 bucks it was nerdgasmic i picked up a bunch of nintendo published games for 10 bucks (pokemon br, wario land shake it, excite truck,) and third party for 5 (dragon quest swords, de blob, raving rabbids, samba de amigo, rayman)
