Topic: Final Fantasy IV: The After Years DLC reviews?

Hey Nintendo Life, can you review the DLC add-on chapters for FFIV: The After Years?

That would be cool.

Indeed it would be. It's been suggested before but they've decided not to take an in-depth look at all the chapters, sadly.

If not a full review, a short feature comparing them all would be nice. I'm waiting for the VC Final Fantasies first regardless of reviews, but I would be interested in NL's opinions.

Yeah, I thought of that too. I think that would be great if they did that. And for other games with DLC, of course.

I'm not sure it's as necessary for other games. Most games have all the DLC immediately available and get mentioned in the review.

MM9 is the only previous game to use dated DLC, that I know of, and its features were good but not really necessary to review. You don't need a review to tell you if you want hard mode or not. It just depends on if you thought the game was easy on normal.

Well I mostly was referring to FFCC:MLK and FFCC:MLDL, actually.

Hard to review costumes and such. I thought I remembered MLK having mention of the DLC in the review though. I guess I was wrong.

Well mostly a brief summary of whether they're worth it or not. The things I care about are extra levels. Like how they touched on it in the reviews for Bubble Bobble Plus and Bust-a-Move Plus.

Who's got all the episodes so far?

Plan to download the new episodes some time today but have all the others.

I seem to remember NL having an article talking about the DLC, so it would be good to have it for FF aswell!
